I checked in at opening time and the mechanic said that it would be done in about 25 minutes. I returned in the alotted time to find out that it could not be done, due to a cross threaded oil pan drain plug installed at my last oil change, at the same Walmart; done by a mechanic that is no longer employed there. The mechanic, on 7/3/19, said he would not remove it unless a department manager was present, and the manager was gone that particular day. Due to a family emergency, the manager was gone for several days. I returned on 7/9/19 and told the mechanic, that I had been talking to, that I really needed to get my oil changed. Yet again, he told me that the manager was still not there, and needed to be present because of the drain plug issue. There was another mechanic, named Antonio, that was listening to conversation. He stepped up and said that he would do the oil change himself, because he knew that I had returned several times. He stated that he would do it without a manager present. I am giving two thumbs up to Antonio for stepping up and resolving the situation. I know that his years of experience is why he had no problem removing the drain plug and making a decision for a quick plug replacement. Thank you again Antonio for your great service! People need to realize WE paid for that renovation. Just look at all the price increases, if you can't tell, you're not paying attention. Refuse impulse buys. Tell Walmart we won't take it until prices come down! The renovation didn't even considered that we are located in a Southwest town, they didn't consider a southwest facade with the exterior. The exterior is so distasteful. The garden center is never open to the parking lot. It just really seems like we are treated like second-class citizens here in Silver City! Do better Walmart, we're watching you!

I had a very frustrating experience at Walmart TRC. As an adult with a valid government-issued ID,…read moreI attempted to purchase alcoholic beverages and was unexpectedly refused service because three other adults accompanying me did not have their IDs available. The employees stated this was "store policy," but when we respectfully asked to see the policy, the store manager later described it as a "preference" rather than an actual written policy. The conflicting explanations were confusing and made the situation even more frustrating. I understand and support responsible alcohol sales and compliance with age-verification laws. However, if a store is going to deny a legal purchase, customers should be given a clear, consistent explanation and be able to review the policy being enforced. The lack of transparency and inconsistent communication from management left a poor impression. I hope Walmart TRC provides better training and clearer guidance so customers are treated fairly and receive accurate information in the future.

I should have known better than to stop at a big box store in a small town. I went in to grab some…read moredrinks for a party by the lake but this place did not have what I was looking for so I got something else. They have the smallest beverage section of any Walmart I have been to. This place was full of old people totally oblivious to their surroundings. I got hit and nearly hit by half a dozen seniors pushing their carts or driving one of those motorized carts. They were not paying attention to where they were going or they just did not care. Then another one cut in front of me and everyone else in line at the self checkout lane and the employee on duty did nothing to stop them. The parking lot was not even half full and yet this store was packed with shoppers. How did everyone get here?
