They always helpful in suggesting products, helped me figure out the perfect dog food for my new puppy with allergies, and are always so inviting to my dogs when I'm in there. Since switching her diet she's gotten much healthier, and seems way more like the girl we remember. If you're looking for a value or discount establishment go somewhere else, but if you're looking to do right by your animals, this is very likely the best place you can go. The level of passion shown by the owner was especially nice. This is the kind of spot that I hope stays in business, for the animals sake.

My first time in I was surprised that the prices were not at the usual "we are in the Farmington Valley so lets screw them" levels. I was also really surprised how many of the customers they knew by name. Nothing speaks as well of a business as having such long term customers that you know many on a first name basis. I big plus for me is that they have a large selection organic gardening supplies. More than anyone in the area and at fair prices. (Not to get off track but if you vegetable garden you get better yields and quality if you go organic. I made the switch several years ago and haven't looked back.) Bidwell's also has that true garden center atmosphere. Garden stuff, fireplace stuff, bird stuff, and even a friendly cat that sleeps in the box of peat pots. In short, a good friendly place that may just have that odd yard, garden, or pet thing you are looking for at OK prices.

When I did so, they told me I had to purchase online or come into the store to purchase training sessions. So I drove 25 minutes to the store to make the purchase. Once at the store they told me I could only purchase training sessions when the trainer is at the store. I never thought we would ever find a groomer as great as Kelsey McCracken when we needed to find a replacement..... I am so thrilled to have met Erika Alwardt! Erika did an amazing job with Apollo - great communication and he looked perfect when we picked him up. The first time Mike came, Leia refused to go outside with my fiancé. She refused to go potty with anyone besides me. She was terrified of everything. She growled at things she didn't understand and had some really obnoxious habits. Before he left that first day, we had her going outside with my fiancé. He explained the concept of how to hold the leash to us. He helped us understand how some of the things we thought we were doing to correct her behavior was actually probably reenforcing it. Since he was here that first time, she's come out of her shell so much more than she had before. She's acting more like a dog and I know we have Mike to thank for that. Although seemingly expensive, it's worth every penny. This week he showed us how to do down/stay and helped us understand how to help her with getting in the car and being comfortable. All around, we're so grateful to have him on this journey with us.
