We got there and the girl disappeared to what we assume was to clean the room. Customers came in and no one would help them until a girl came from the back and checked a lady out but LITERALLY ran back to the back instead of talking to us. We waited for 20 minutes without anyone saying a word. Once the girl finally came out of the wash room, she didn't make eye contact or say anything to us. My husband finally went back and asked what was taking so long and she said that it wasn't her fault. She then went back to the room without helping us. Yelp had outdated info for the address, so we have that fixed now. So today, I brought our big girl in for a nail clip, and Apryle (unique spelling for "April", but that's what the sign said!) just plopped right down and lovingly picked up each paw and got the nails clipped with no barking or yipping or discomfort (our dog is getting up there in years and has hip issues.). So I hope to check in more frequently and upgrade the review as I try other services.

We started going about a year ago when we got our new puppy. We had a terrible time with him and his allergies. We finally got him.....with the help of the great staff....on a good food that works for him. They are priced competitively with the bigger stores, but what you get here that you won't at other places is the service. Also, they have a program that if you buy 12 bags of food, the 13th is free. Petco grooming... however, I have also had terrible experiences and I am tired of them causing me hundreds in vet bills. The first time I took my dog to Petco, they did not dry his ears properly which resulted in a $150 vet bill. Another time, I brought up my concern and told them to please dry out his ears and they said they didn't get water in his ears and that they used an alcohol based cleaner. Can you guess what happened? Yep, you got it! Same as before, another $150 vet bill and my dog feeling terrible for weeks. I had a couple decent grooms after that, but this last week something happened again... can you guess what it was? YEP! Another double ear infection due to improper cleaning of the ears. This time, it was so bad the vet was able to remove significant amounts of water from both ears 3 days after the bath and it resulted in a $300 vet bill and a month long program to get him healthy again. Please note that we bathe him regularly and never have this issue because we don't shoot water directly into his ears. Quite frankly, I am entirely fed up and I STRONGLY recommend NOT using this Petco unless you like averaging $300+ per haircut (including vet bills), and a sick dog. P.S. the customer service is also terrible. They don't really listen to any instructions on the cut and they will ignore you for long periods of time (45+ minutes). You will actually save money if your dog to a real groomer due to the negligence induced vet bills. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL !!!
