I cannot say enough great things about Mr. Drippy Plumbing off Lorna Road in Hoover, Alabama! From…read morestart to finish, the experience was absolutely top-notch. I was scheduled for a service window between 8:30-10:00 AM this past Friday, and right at 8:00 AM I received a confirmation call from Laura, which I really appreciated. Even better, Pierce arrived promptly, just after 8:30AM and appeared extremely professional and ready to get to work. Pierce was extremely respectful, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I showed him the issues I was having with a toilet and two sinks, and he carefully explained what was going on in a way that made complete sense. He stepped back out to his van to coordinate with Laura on pricing, and within minutes had clear, straightforward options with numbers for me on how we could approach the problems. The pricing was very reasonable, and they even offered bundling discounts, which made it an incredible value! (Especially for the level of professionalism and quality service they provide.) It is rare to find a company where you genuinely feel comfortable having someone in your home, but that's exactly how I felt with Pierce. From the moment you meet him, you know you can trust him -- supervised or unsupervised -- to do the job correctly and with integrity. Going forward, I will absolutely be requesting Pierce Winkler as our on-site plumber every time. If you need plumbing inspection, repair, installation, or replacement at a fair price and want a team that truly values professionalism and customer service, I highly recommend Mr. Drippy Plumbing. Pierce and Laura were outstanding!

Chandler Dill performed our maintenance service on June 1st and exemplified professionalism from start to finish. He was prompt, efficient, and highly knowledgeable, while also treating us with courtesy and respect as homeowners. Chandler returned on 6/9/26 for a thermostat that quit working, and once again, was awesome to work with. Chandler took the time to listen carefully to our concerns, explain the necessary repairs, and ensure that the work was completed thoroughly before leaving. Higdon offers an affordable maintenance program. The value it provides is outstanding, from the responsive office staff who schedule appointments and send helpful reminders, to the skilled technicians who consistently deliver high-quality service. Although we are relocating to Indiana and will no longer be able to continue our contract with Higdon, we leave with complete confidence in the company's integrity, expertise, and customer care. We highly recommend Higdon Service to anyone seeking dependable HVAC and plumbing professionals.

I personally could not be happier with the service that I received from Higdon. I originally had a service call for my ac unit Kyle/Jeremy were the technicians that work on my unit. after diagnosing the issues they talk to me about the problem and discussed with me my options going forward. They took photos to support the issues that they were discussing with me. I had them make minor repairs to this unit until I could get quotes for a new unit, my unit was older then 20 yrs. I had Higdon Service install a new HVAC/Heat Pump unit for me. Again John/Jayden were the install technician, they did a very professional job installing this unit during the rainy "ALL" day that we had, they completed the installation in one day. I am very confident in recommending Higdon Services to anyone needind HVAC and Plumbing services. Also all of the office staff make you feel like you are part of the family. They definitely accommodate you for your needs and scheduling.

Disappointed with what I found after Powerhouse Plumbing Pros left…read more The plumbers were in the crawlspace installing plumbing for an addition. The installation of the new plumbing required the removal of some of the existing plumbing. Rather than placing a bucket or catch pan beneath the sections being cut out, they simply allowed the water to drain onto the plastic membrane in my encapsulated crawlspace. When I went into the crawlspace to inspect the work after they had left, I was greeted by puddles of standing water. There was clearly no attempt to catch the water as the pipes were cut, nor any effort to vacuum it up afterward with a shop vac, as I ultimately had to do myself. Another disappointment was finding that the cut-out sections of plumbing had simply been discarded in the crawlspace rather than removed from the work area. It gave the impression that they assumed most homeowners would never enter the crawlspace to see the mess left behind. Although I'm not a plumber, I'm at a loss as to why two additional 90-degree turns were added to the cold-water PEX line when the adjacent hot-water line was installed without them. While it's only two extra elbows, they appear unnecessary. In my opinion, two additional crimped PEX connections create two additional potential leak points. Details matter. A little more attention to workmanship and cleanup would have gone a long way.
