He primarily, listens to what I want, but he also tells me what he thinks. I have a longer bob, and I really like the cut. Took sometime to get it perfect , but patience persevered. Troy likes to play with colors, and so do I. We have a nice red, or I should say dark copper base right now, and pretty soon it will be time to add highlights. Toward winter, we add low and highlights. Another plus is my color lasts until the next visit. The salon is cutely decorated and comfortable. They offer water, but not your fufu wines, etc. I think this is how they keep prices relatively competitive. I thank Laurelle every day for turning me on to Troy , not to mention that several of our family members also go there, including my husband.

I spoke to 2 ladies about my hair and how it wasn't done correctly where I had went prior. They were both very nice and attentive to my needs and what I was saying. So after that chat, I booked an appointment with Shannon for the following day(today)! Shannon & I spoke a little more about what the plan was and what I wanted done, before she started. She turned my disaster hair into a lovely color. I'm so happy with what Shannon did for me. I absolutely love the color!! This Salon is very clean, the stylist are very friendly and attentive, everyone one employed there including the owner are so kind and great people. Firstly, the space here is gorgeous. The salon is admittedly small, but they make good use of their space. They were also very accommodating of our big group, and allowed us to sit throughout the entire place (rather than just waiting up front for people to finish one at a time). That made this cozy place all the more welcoming and enjoyable. Additionally, the staff here were very organized. They had planned exactly which team member would work with each member of the bridal party, so there was never any hesitation or doubt about someone being overlooked. And they were a delight to chat with, too! I never felt awkward or uncomfortable while I was in my chair. Snacks and drinks were also provided to us, and the staff even offered to clean up after large our party left (presumably to minimize stress on a wedding day). We still did our best to clean up on our way out, but the gesture was very appreciated. Based on the wedding prep experience alone, I would recommend them to anyone looking for some beauty care. (I think that in addition to makeup and hair styling, they can also do haircuts, waxing, etc. And they definitely sell beauty products as well.) I looked at the menu of services and thought the prices were fair to very reasonable. There were several other folks in chairs when I walked in and that was a good sign, or so I thought. I was summoned to a pedicure station with a nod and a finger call. I gladly stepped up to assume the position and was really excited until....the gentleman adjusted my chair in the most uncomfortable position with my knees way over my feet. For a minute, I thought he was trying to be funny. I asked him if he could push the button to slide my seat back. He adjusted it and then continued on. He did the usual but there was no effort. You know how someone gives a lifeless handshake? I feel like that was how my massage went. I didn't expect him to put his back into it but I did expect to feel something. He was very rough and scrubbed the tops of my feet with some brush which I surely thought would remove some skin. I asked him to stop...twice. Thank God, skin intact and I'm good. Lol The polish job was bad. I don't ever expect to have polish all over my skin when I'm paying to have those services done. It's an easy fix and inexcusable when left up to me, as a customer, to request for it to be corrected. I don't think it's asking too much for my nails to be painted and not the skin around them, just sayin. When I asked him if he could remove the polish from the skin around my toes, it seemed as though I was bothering him. In any case, he did it...somewhat. I don't believe there's ever a need to get out of pocket (loud, make a scene) when service isn't good or up to par. I just $pend somewhere else. With the poorly executed "spa pedicure" I received here, I just don't feel the need to visit again. Ever.

I visited this spa as part of a group event. They have a small waiting area that has various items for sale (looked like lotions etc that you could add essential oils to). They also had some accessories and some shirts. When they checked us in, they moved us to a brightly lit and nicely decorated room. This is where we did a paraffin wax dip for our hands and made our roller ball of essential oils. They were a well oiled machine with knowing exactly who should be where when (once they had gotten everyone checked in). The wax dip left my hands feeling smooth and wonderful. I believe this is the room that they would usually use for the nail treatments (as they had nail polish on the wall). they then called individuals out to the treatment rooms. They were typical spa rooms with a place to put your things, a bed and the area with all their supplies. I'm a tall person and the bed was both wide and big enough (which sadly isn't always the case). Everything was very clean and service was friendly and informative. Definitely recommend getting a treatment here.
