On a girls trip we decided to check out this shoe store to try on some winter shoes. The store had a great selection of shoes, boots, and other related items. The staff was super friendly. They brought out the sizes we needed with different color options. This is a full service shoe store in the sense they put the shoes on your feet and tie them up for you. I was on a business trip and my previously comfortable shoes were KILLING my feet. I found Tradehome shoes and went in. This turned out to be the perfect call. The staff was enthusiastic and helpful. I told Boston about my issues and pain. He went to work bring stacks of shoes out. He didn't just bring out shoes out, but he explained why about each shoe then listened to my feedback and went and got more for me to try. In the end I found three pairs that were pure bliss to wear. I request 9.5 Extra wides, they need to be extra wides. My best luck is Hoka bondi 7,8,now 9. Do you have any not now? Guy says well you should try the hoka gavoti it is the most cushion. I should've walked then. There is not a bondi ad, store, anyplace that will not claim the bondi is the softest kick. Let's check your size? What? So you're an 8.5 maybe wide? I'm thinking this down right entertainment now. Have you tried ???? He names half dozen brands n shoes. Out he comes two stacks of boxes. Oh, I didn't get the one I meant too. More boxes come out. He starts opening and trying to slip the shoes on. Now I do not have the best eye sight. But I am seeing 10s 11s ah Mr shoehorn} a majority of the shoes do not feel comfortable by the time my toes are in much less my foot! He keeps trying each pair he brought out. I let him . Mean of me. My phone rings I gotta go now. He got a lot of practice opening and closing boxes. Not one repeat not one pair of any shoe was an extra wide. I thanked him for his time left went to scheels bought 4 pair of shoes. I have had this happen before at this shoehorn store. Assume ? They get excited about the pair they wedge on you, you buy never wear them because they are way to small. If you know what you want you ask for that item. Get it or tell customer you don't have it. I was shopping for shoes for my godsons birthday gift. Knowing exactly what I wanted I went into Footlocker, Finish Line and Journeys. Not one of the sales associates at those 3 stores offered to show me the shoes after I had asked to see the size nor could they verify if they did in fact have a store in Alexandria, MN (I could have googled on my phone- but they should know or look, I'm the customer asking). When I walked into Tradehome shoes and asked these questions the sales guy was more than happy To go grab several shoes in the sizes I asked for, verify there was a store in Alexandria and was super friendly. While I was waiting for him to grab the shoes I observed other salesman talking with customers and they were VERY knowledgeable not only fitting the shoes, but informing customers on how to take care of them.
