And if you're lucky enough to meet the owner, he's sure to put a smile on your face. Onofrio is a wonderful man that cares deeply about the community. Matlacha has suffered back to back to back to back loss. The type of loss no one can really imagine or understand. It takes years to even find clarity and words to describe what this community has gone through. So instead of focusing on what happened during the devastating hurricanes (yes more than one and add in direct hit from a tornado after the great flood). I encourage everyone to take advantage of the honor and privilege it is to walk through the doors of places still standing in Matlacha. This place is extremely special, because you can get custom made. If that doesn't "I love you" in some sort of token or momento, what does? Walk through these doors often and support as much as you can. As if dollars were smiles and smiles were dollars.
