WARNING!!! The persons at J &J Bargains (Jack Ass and Jerk) at Trader's World in Monroe won't stand behind their sales! They sold a lot of 13 phones to us that were listed as refurbished and tested and working and come to find out that 3 of the key phones part of the lot do not even work and one cracked screen. These guys are so scared to stand behind their sales like wimps trying to pass off the non-working phones as "all sales final" even when their listing for the lot was all listed as refurbished and tested. Rather than call you back and take calls to resolve the matter they are just a bunch of pussies and avoid your calls or do not return messages. Very unfortunate but we will do our part to warn off others so they are not taken advantage of as we were. These guys won't be in business very long not standing behind their products and service. If you're going to list items in a sale and not stand behind them you need to state so in your listing which they did not. They are trying to pass off that their listing says "AS IS" (see their original listing below). These guys have no idea how to run a business and it won't be long before they burn bridges with many potential customers like myself that spend hundreds of dollars each month buying their crap. I like walking around and people watching, but the quality of the merchandise has drastically gone down over the years. There used to be a lot of unique little booths. Now it's mostly foreigners and hillbillies selling junk. Makes it harder to justify the long drive. read more

Traders World is one big Arse place to come to, and I mean you will spend your whole day walking it if you let yourself. I am not much of a fan of this place, as you stroll the place, after a while you feel like you have been down the same isle after isle..... I have never thought of anything here a major bargain, and some things (hopefully they have cleaned it up) looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years..... it has been a few years since I have been here, so maybe it has gotten better. It has tons of stuff The difference with this fleamarket is the fact that there are all kinds of decorations and even piano playing......there are signs everywhere that are really humorous. This was was very first flea market experience. I'm so glad I went with my friend who has been here many times because I only have one word: OVERWHELMING. Seriously, if I had come by myself I would have gotten completely lost. From the outside, Traders World looks like a bunch of separate buildings, but in reality it's actually one big building that is all connected. I felt like I had walked into a Twin Peaks episode. The miles of aisles seemed surely would have swallowed me whole had I come alone. My friend had a system for snaking our way through, and it seemed to work fine. Most of the items being sold looked like they could have been found at a local Goodwill or thrift store. I didn't see anything special, but then again I was extremely overwhelmed. They serve food, but I imagine one would spend hours on the toilet after consuming it. I'm glad I finally visited, but I don't see myself making a trip back anytime soon. read more

One of the largest flea markets I've been to, limited coin vendors for such a large lot (only two and one was out the day I was there) but hellofa good collection for toy and hobby collectors and an interesting scene to walk and people watch. Lots and lots of junk to sift thru too if you like that thing. good flea market and easy morning drive, only about 1.5 hours from Columbus. read more

If you like flea markets, I have never been to another like this. It is obvious that anyone who rated it lower than 5 stars is not a flea market junkie. It will take you a good day to see all of the vendors, the place is just amazing. Also, the owners have invested what must be hundreds of thousands of dollars in decorations. You can't look up, down, left, or right without seeing something on the walls, ceilings, floor, etc. It is really amazing. Oh, and the food in the food court is great too. Try the pizza... yummy! While you are in the area, stop at Jungle Jim's. It is a grocery store on steroids! I kid you not. Probably the largest liquor store in Ohio (inside the grocery store), 50 pound wheels of cheese, $1,000 bottles of hot sauce, $500 bottles of olive oil. Food from all around the world (they have little rooms for each country) and the person who decorated Traders World must have also decorated this store. There is a full size fire engine sitting on top of the 4 aisles of hot sauce (yes I said 4 aisles!). You won't believe your eyes! read more

I actually really like Trader's World. it's a great place to go if you want to find something unique and have fun shopping. If you don't want unique and different, I would recommend just going to a regular mall. It's also super entertaining! The chaos and randomness of the place are a sight to behold. And you can find really good deals there, too. If "findings" and flea market type places aren't your thing you might want to pass on this place... but I'd still recommend giving it a try at least once, especially if you live nearby. (Although I don't know anyone who lives within an hour who HASN'T gone here at least once.) As a side note, you can also do some outdoor shopping as well. My Tour bus made a stop at Trader's World in Mid October 2012. This place is amazing! I like Trader's World better than the outlet malls. I was greeted by very gracious and kind shop owners. My family and I loved the pizza and soft serve ice cream. We picked up several great bargains from many shops. We can't wait to come back. See ya'll next time! :-) read more

Not a real fleamarket. I was excited to go to Trader's World since I do visit many fleamarkets. What a HUGE disappointment. There were no real bargains. It is aisle upon aisle of high priced junk. Mostly new and cheaply made stuff. Any real fleamarket shopper knows your best bargains are the outside vendors who deal with collectables and your miscellaneous items and will bargain with you. This place has very few outside vendors. It was supposed to open at 9 a.m. We got there at 9:15 and most of the vendors weren't open yet. Many never did open and many of the other stalls or "stores" were empty of renters. If you want to look at high priced stuff in "stores" go across the street to the outlets. At least there you know what you are getting. Don't waste your time or gas on Trader's World. read more

Dirty, hot, and rude vendors. Traders World has completely gone straight to crap. They keep it so hot in there you are on the verge of passing out because you can barely breathe. Half the vendors are gone and the one's left are mostly rude. Especially the old lady that runs the Avon hole. She has never been friendly, looking at you like she doesn't even want you walking in. No hello, never a thank you. Recently she was plain mean making a nasty comment to me about putting back an item on the shelf because it was open. Like I'm supposed to buy open merchandise. She made a point of waiting until after she took my money, all sales final. before she said anything. It was so hot in there I just left and will never return. I thought I was getting my Avon lotion cheaper there but after checking Avon.com I realized I can get it at the same price with free shipping for orders over $49. I signed up for the newsletter so Avon can alert me of the sales. Mostly everything in the entire flea market you can get the same price or cheaper online. It was a horrible experience. Who wants to shop dripping of sweat unable to breathe. They claim in the flyer your given when you get there that the A/c is on but it never is. Don't eat there and God help you if you have to use the bathroom. I wish I had never went! read more

I usually go to Traders World 2-3 times a year . I made my summer visit last weekend and found that a new pet supply store moved in . I was so happy to find them ! They were about half off what Petsmart is . I'm going back this week to get a cage that was $50 that Petsmart has for $119. Did I mention I was happy ? Looks like I'll be going back more often to visit aisle 2! read more

Fall is fantastic at Traders World. Outside, mums pumpkins furniture stereos,you name it, it is there somewhere. Inside, even more. Plan a meal, the food is great. Our visit to Trader's World was fun for us and the kids. This place is decorated with literally thousands of primitive antiques on the walls and ceiling. A great place to spend a whole Saturday or Sunday. Hundreds of vendors selling new and used goods. The food was great also. read more

everyone of these reviews seem to think that they are going to the mall and buying that that $1000 extra special gift. they went to a flea market what did they expect? i have been there several times and love it. yes it is a great place to people watch and the food court isn't red lobster but it is a flea market and the food isn't bad, it's actually pretty good for a flea market. yes it can be a little confusing to a new visitor but once you figure out the lay out it's not that hard. and for the animals outside yes it seems a little strange at first but if you take the time to read some of the ads you will see their slogan is that "traders world is a shopping safari" and you can find about anything there. the decor is a lot of antiques hanging all over but again its a flea market and it is in the country owned for a long time by the same family and the man who started it severed in world war 2. i have met some really nice people there (venders), and i met some real jerks as well some of them are the costumers whining about how it ain't as good as the mall, DUH it's a FLEA MARKET! i always have a good time when i go and i tell everyone about it. read more
