So happy we stumbled upon this place! So you're out in the middle of nowhere in Maine...or it seems that way anyway...and you need gas, a snack or something to drink (or even may need to tinkle) and there is nothing for miles...right?! This store seems to be perfectly placed and has a little bit of everything. Seriously, we not only got gas...but I got snacks, drinks, a sandwich and even some wacky socks, a few other souvenir items and whoopee pies! Yes, they have restrooms too! The great news is, even with not much around in the area...the prices are fair. Plus, the staff was friendly, helpful and personable. It's a convenience, but it's a welcome break/sight for the traveler passing through...and indeed convenient! OK...so here's the deal: Getting a cell signal in Maine in general is slim. Please look this place up on the map. Better yet, use the "earth" or the satellite option...you'll see what I mean! If you feel you may be driving through this area, I suggest you note or write down the address so you can put it into your GPS and add it as a stop along your route. We always get gas here when traveling. The market is clean, there are a bunch of food options both for convenience snacks and sandwiches and other fresh items, also there are Maine souvenirs of a decent selection, and the bathrooms are clean. read more

I wouldn't shop at the store as long as the girl with the long black hair, and the gentleman with the long ponytail that works in the deli, during night hours on Tuesday because they are both very rude and because they have no manager at the moment they make up their own rules on how to run the store, I went to buy a pack of cigarettes and they told me they did not feel comfortable selling them to me, I walked away and said I would find someplace else to buy them I've also had a friend of mine tell me that they would not exchange a pack of cigarettes when she never even left the store the girl with the dark long hair that's Young she told her federally it's illegal to exchange them when she gave her the wrong ones! I'm not allowed to buy cigarettes or alcohol at that store anymore so they have lost my business! People should have more respect for other people and I think that these people should be fired! And I know the manager was Jeff and that they don't have a manager at the moment because he went to district manager so it seems like they think it's okay to run the store how they feel and that is very wrong and very illegal according to the customers. this store is close to home...amherst....good for easy pickup of some things. prices are high compared to say hannafords or shaws.....i asked about that there,,,,they said ITS A CONVIENCE STORE !!....well....that doesnt seem like a valid excuse....but guess we stuck with it. these days pay more, get less. anyway its a good place to pick up small items... read more

Holy Moly what a great store! I wish I lived closer to this place! So clean and even their bathroom is immaculate. They had a great selection of snacks and candy and we loved the iced tea from here . If your in the area they have a nice selection of all kinds of stuff! Definitely check this place out! read more
