Today we went in and a manager actually had us remove our grocery items on the belt so she could give special treatment to another customer. After serving that customer, the same individual then gives us permission to check out and just like any store, the customer behind us was allowed to place their items on the belt at exactly the same time we did. Unbelievable! It is not the first time we have received that type of treatment here. Employees seeing examples of discriminatory practices by the management sets the rhythm for everyone else. After this much time we will shop elsewhere. Enough is enough and there are too many other valid stores with employees that understand customers pay their bills and keep their stores going. They are not doing us a favor. A great example of why Maine economy suffers and no one moves here.

One of their delivery trucks clipped my mirror on a very narrow street in Bar Harbor on a fairly busy summer day recently. The driver stopped, which could not have been easy, and left a note. It makes the trips more fun than your average store. Recently I also found a winter hat the same style but much better than one I had passed over at twice the police at Reny's (another great store).
