While the teachers themselves are caring and dedicated, the administration under the current principal is an absolute disaster. Negligence and lack of basic child safety are ongoing issues that have been ignored or brushed aside by those in charge. The school's leadership is unresponsive and unaccountable, making repeated and serious errors that put children at risk. Communication is poor, concerns from parents are dismissed, and there seems to be no real oversight or willingness to improve. To make matters worse, the St. Augustine Diocese--who should be stepping in to protect students and hold the administration accountable--is just as indifferent. It's incredibly disappointing to see such disregard for children's wellbeing from those who claim to represent a faith-based educational institution. I wouldn't trust this administration with my child's safety or education. Until major changes are made at the leadership level, this school is not a safe or trustworthy place. The teachers deserve better (as there are so many who stay because of our kids)! The kids deserve better! And parents deserve the truth! Avoid St. Patrick at all costs. Please pray with me that the new Holy Father makes the changes needed in Catholic education in this diocese.

She made learning the clinical skills for the exam straightforward and stress-free. The course included an online module for the written portion, which made it super convenient to study at my own pace, and we were also given a workbook to help prepare for the hands-on portion. One of the best parts of the program is the open lab sessions--they allow you to return and practice clinical skills with an instructor's supervision, which will be a huge help in building my confidence before the exam. I was so impressed that I came back for my BLS certification, which was taught by the owner, Clay. Clay was amazing--experienced, kind, professional, and genuinely hilarious. He made the material easy to understand, and the class flew by. In past CPR courses I've taken elsewhere, I usually left confused or unsure about certain parts. Clay made sure everything was crystal clear and took the time to answer everyone's questions thoroughly. I got 3 root canals done here, & each one has given me so much pain for 4 years...12 years of pain just from this place. & I paid for it. Better than nothing, I suppose. My gum is eaten down to my gum-line around each root canal they did. Every single time I floss it hurts & is tender & raw for literally the rest of the night until I go to bed & wake up. I H8 them for it! & go to bed every night wishing them to SUFFER the rest of their lives, as well as their families!! They are so unprofessional. The last one I had done, the blonde Russian/Ukranian lady was supposedly a teacher there! WTAF!!! I tried to be empathetic bc of the war going on between Russia & Ukraine, but what she did is completely immoral & unprofessional, & she had NO good reason to do that to me! I also had to borrow a car every time I went up there, as well, bc I had no vehicle at the time for years. She sent me home 5 Xs in total, after only working on my tooth for maybe 20 mins-MAYBE!! & I live an hour away one way!! I have 3 herniated & slipped discs in my spine (2 in neck & 1 in lower back), & 2 annular cracks in my spine, & it REALLY HURTS me to drive that far & that often! & I had. child at home to take care of, & an abusive husband to deal with, while living just above the poverty line! It's UNBELIEVABLE how they treated me, & I will NEVER go back if I don't have to! It's a sliding scale payment, but it's still EXPENSIVE AF-& only a few hundred less than somewhere like Haile Plantation. Save a few hundred extra & go to Gainesville Family Dentistry & go to Haile for your root canals & crowns, & be treated like royalty, & not have your tooth bother you or give you problems for one day, like the root canal/crown I had done there. The dentist there could NOT BELIEVE the shotty work UF dental did on me, by leaving the dead roots in there! He was HORRIFIED!!! & I am, too! I H8 this place! Stay far FAR FAR AWAY, if you can! This is not really a review of the school itself, but rather of its drama department and a show I…read morerecently attended. Watching a cast of students from all high school grades pull off "Treasure Island" was an absolute joy! I graduated high school a long time ago, and the school I went to didn't have a drama department at the time. Heck, when the football team would walk off the field at half-time, the band would walk out with the entire brass section clothed in football attire because they did double-duty. However, I remember what a bunch of doofuses we were back then, and the thought of pulling off a dramatic production of a story that hasn't really been a popular story for a number of decades was laughable. So imagine my surprise in sitting down and watching a show where the entire production, from direction to props to set to acting, was all done by the students with minimal involvement from teaching staff! The auditorium the show was performed in is your typical high school auditorium, with some amount of professional lighting but nothing spectacular. Sound is good, and the performers did not need microphones for the most part. The set? Wow... just wow. All of the pieces were appropriate for the show, and the costuming was really well done. As for the show itself, well... the lead role of Jim Hawkins was performed brilliantly by a tenth grader, whose multiple monologues were performed with beautiful inflection and nary a slip of memory. She interacted well with the rest of the cast, and to top it all off, she was also the one to choreograph all of the fights in the show, which included multiple one-on-one fights as well as a couple of mass melee's that are very tough to coordinate while still making them look good. The rest of the cast performed their directions admirably, and I have to give credit to all of them for pulling off an exceptional show. Their teacher, who has been teaching at Buchholz for decades, should take great pride in his students who have performed so well.

The Buchholz Bobcats lost to Forest Wildcats by a score of 61 to 59. The game ended tied at the end of regulation and went overtime. Geronimo Christian had 18 points and Zach Davis had 17 points for Forest. Nice gym and campus.

Our family has been involved with Danscompany for over 12 years and even though my children are grown, we all continue to be actively involved in Danscompany! My children learned so many priceless life skills from the teachers and the mission of this non profit organization.
