The woman who greeted my was very friendly, asking if there was anything in particular that she could help me find. I was kind of a mission and I knew exactly what I was looking for so I thanked her and let her know I would ask if I had any questions. Straight to the vodka section... I picked up Skinny Girl White Cranberry Cosmo, which sounded delicious and well worth a try... There was only 1 bottle left, and normally that's a good sign that it's a top seller. I paid $11.99 for the bottle which I thought was just the right price. I then ventured over to the wine section and picked up a bottle of good ol' Yellow Tail chardonnay, on sale for $5.99... Which is the cheapest I have seen it around. So I was happy with the overall price of my excursion. Black Diamond Wine & Spirits is less then 5 minutes away from my work... A convenient stop on my drive home. I will surely be going back here in the future!

Every employee was SUPER informative of their products and helped us with every single question we had. Yes I know sometimes an employee is just trying to make a sale but you know what they helped us get what we were looking for and steered us in the right direction with the discounts and deals. The store is super clean with wide aisles and great merchandise displays. Selection (5/5). SO many wines, beers, liquors. They even had some imported selections from the Philippines. All of my favorites are sold here, which makes it so convenient. Service (4/5). The person handing out samples of delicious liquors was so fun, charming and informative. I loved one of the items I sampled and had to buy some on the way out of the store. He even got me to try a new brand of vodka with his recommendation. However, the lady at the check out could have been more friendly.

The owner is very helpful in answering questions & when not busy, a great conversationalist talking about life in general. So, for a good selection at reasonable prices, K-Liquors cannot be beat. The sales people at Byerly's have been extremely helpful - giving me perspective about how much to spend. Honestly I was torn and their insights were really helpful. You just can't help feeling guilty that you can't splurge for good wine but when it's 200 people you start to be a bit more careful about budget. Byerly's Wine & Spirits staff have also been extremely helpful letting me know when their wine sales will take place so that I can buy their 2 for 1 specials. Decided on a Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc that normally costs around $20/bottle, but bought it at their 2 for 1 so got each bottle for around $10. It's a great white that has wonderful citrus flavors. Now I'll go back and check for a red wine. It feels a bit odd to be giving all this detail. Oh well, as long as it helps others trying to figure out where to find good deals for a big feast.

My knowledge of local craft beers beers is lacking because I haven't resided in this state in the last 7 some years. Brewery's like Fulton, surly, & lift bridge are new in my vernacular so I always make sure to stock up @ MGM on my way out of town w/ a case or two or three to keep up to date. The employees have always been helpful & are quick to point me to anything in particular I'm looking for. They've even gone as to help me load my car (cause juggling 3 cases just makes me look like a lush).

I'm glad I found this location closer to my office, but the staff was not overly friendly. Now, I knew what I needed, I just didn't know where everything was. I asked the cashier and he just kind of pointed. I guess that's fine, but at that time, I was the only person in there. The clientele is much better at this location than my favorite, but I guess I was hoping for friendlier service. Not sure why, but I just expected friendlier service. I ended up getting what I needed at a good price and I'll go back and now I know where my favorite items are located.

Arbor Pointe Liquors is a great local store to visit, especially if you like to support the local…read moreplaces! It's not as big as places like MGM, but they have as much variety as the big chains. They have recently implemented a wine tasting on some nights when you stop in and an email list to keep you up to date on new things coming into the store. All in all, its a good store and the staff is always very friendly and helpful.

As the other comments state, they also have wine lovers club and other fun promotions. While I live in Hopkins, I try and swing into Arbor Pointe if I am any where nearby.
