Dropped my mower off on Friday mid morning in need of a battery, oil change and new blades. The service department told me a full service as an option which included an oil change, air filter, Spark plug, blades, and drive oil, which was total of $350 plus a battery would be $70 since had a problem with it. I wrote down the quote so I knew estimate which could be off by a small amount. Also, I asked them to check the belt which wouldn't be covered, but they would give me a call to let me know if it needed to be changed. I asked him how long it will be and he said it shouldn't take long. Now, it is monday and I haven't heard anything about the belt so I gave them a call to see when it will be done and any updates. I was told it will be done either wednesday or thursday and said "no problem, thanks" and hung up. I decided to go pick it up without being service and do it myself because i need it sooner than the days given. About an hour later, I was that the service department to pick up my mower. Once I went inside, I was told it's magically done and was LIED TOO... after being told the battery was $70 it really cost $100 and I was told blades where included in that full service which was also a lie and cost an extra $63. After being told it was going to be $420 plus taxes ended up being $564 almost 140 more then originally quoted at drop-off. read more

I bring in my 500 I to get calibrated and I didn't ask them to do anything else and they go ahead and give the saw a full diagnostic without my permission and they wanted me to pay for that and I told him no all I wanted them to do was to put the saw on the computer. To calibrate the saw so I wanted and they wanted me to pay for it and I told him that they didn't do what I asked him to do so I wasn't gonna pay. read more

Had an excellent service experience at Trail Saw & Mower recently. Wanted to acknowledge that, and thank the Service Dept staff. I have an 8 year old Kubota BX2370 that I use primarily to maintain an 8 acre horse pasture. I bought the tractor new from TS&M. TS&M has serviced it from the get go and has always done a good job. I was really irked when I got the tractor out to catch up with mowing and one of the front wheels decoupled from the steering cylinder. The steering cylinder had been replaced and had only 80 hours on it. TS&M fixed, at no cost to me, the past-warranty repair that was determined to be due to a defective part. I use to get some parts from this place and is excellent.. But the service department its sucks.The white chubby guy with gray shirt and a hat I don't know his name and I don't want to know, he's very rude, and also he ask you to many questions like a cop, and also he said they don't have the part the one it needs to be replace it from the warranty! He said I will take a mont and a half.. And I call to SUNBELT LAWN & TRACTOR Inc in winter park and they trate me awesome very educated and they get it done in two days.... Poor, poor, poor. first time there, got a quick estimate to repair edger, between 40 - $45.00 they said they will call with actual estimate in a few days. They called next day saying $110.00 to fix, maybe better going out and buying new. HOW BOUT THEM APPLES. I went out to check pricing, $199.00 for new. I called them and gave tthem an ok to fix. They said ok, will be done in a week. NO calls. Called them 2 weeks after and they said OH, we have your ok but no-one ordered the parts. Will put rush on order. After 2 weeks, I called to see if finished. They said come pick it up, just finishing up. Go to pick up edger, $144.71 invoice. Claimed they told me $150.00 estimate. Very poor customer service, no contact, not reputible, service man couldn't even explain why it took so long.... Never, I mean NEVER going back.. People, just throw out broken, purchase a new item. They will screw you!!!! read more

It was awhile ago in which I went into this store. I purchased a Stihl fs56rce homeowner trimmer. The guy came over and explained the difference between the trimmers and pulled the one I wanted down and carried it over. Explained clearly about the warranty on the equipment and if I bought a six pack of Stihl synthetic oil it would be increased to four years. Talked about the different line you can load on the machine. We checked out and he explained and showed me how the Stihl starting sequence worked and started it up in the store. I purchased this item two years ago. I use non ethanol gasoline in the engine and have had no issues to have to bring it in. read more
