We drove from Redding, CA to buy our new Reflection 5th wheel from Aaron Walch. My hubby did a lot of shopping around before we purchased, and we not only found the best value here, but the customer service, from Aaron in sales down to Jeff Spangler in orientation, was outstanding beyond our expectations (especially in this post-Covid world)!! The financing end was smooth and worry-free (great interest rate and no pre-payment penalty). The orientation covered every switch, light, hose and remote control along with instructions on unhooking, leveling, awning and slides. As first timers, I feel very confident (and I videoed everything...just in case). We got a smokin' deal on the extended warranty being Costco members, and they threw in $1000 credit voucher for certain campgrounds. Did I mention this RV is GORGEOUS and not only has the kitchen island I wanted, but dual heated massage chairs (hubby's wish) that face the TV and fireplace!! This is our Dream Come True. Brought our 2019 Reflection 5th wheel in for a recall check on the Dometic fridge. We originally called to make appointment because fridge was not working on Electric setting, only LP setting. We thought this might have been part of the recall issue. We needed coach to be looked at fast, as we were going on vacation. They were able to speed process for us when we delivered to them in the morning. Wil Anderson was very helpful, and called us as soon as they found the problem. He stated the recall issue was inspected and was fine, and they thought the issue was the control panel. Turned out that was ok as well. The fuse got checked that is actually IN the fridge unit outside, to be accessed from the outside, was blown. We checked all fuses in coach but we were not aware of a second fuse in the fridge itself. Lesson learned. We were even more grateful they stated "no charge" for inspecting and finding issue only to be a fuse that they replaced for us. They got us back on the road by the afternoon! This is why we purchased this rig from this company, and will continue to haul it an hour and ten minutes from our home to have it serviced only by them. Thank You! The owner of Trailer Hitch, Mike, read my review and reached out to me the next day. He was genuinely disappointed and wanted to understand what happened...rare these days. We had a very nice conversation and he encouraged us to come back to at least look at the trailer and said he would make sure we spoke with the sales manager, Aaron. We really did want the trailer so we went back down the next day and were greeted by a team of folks. They definitely went above and beyond. We had a long talk with Aaron about what happened and where the break down in communication occurred. He seemed to hear and understand what changes need to be made so another customer doesn't experience the same thing. He was professional and upfront when handling the sale...no BS which I liked. We ended up getting the trailer and feel that overall we got a good deal and we're treated with respect. Our walk through with Tony was great. Very nice guy and funny! Tom checked us out that evening and ended up giving us another mini orientation. Pointing out some extra stuff...again, very nice professional man. My husband brought the trailer in today to have load leveling/sway bar thing installed ...we should have done that the day we took it home. They suggested it but we were tired and wanted to get home...they were right...it makes a big difference! We discovered that the heater was not working 100% and he mentioned that to Troy and Devon when he dropped it off. Well they took some extra time and found out that it had not been hooked up from the factory and they fixed it right there. All in all, our experience has been what I had hoped it would be. I would feel comfortable referring my friends here and to ask for Aaron in Sales...he may not know everything about every unit but he will find the guy who does or figure it out himself and call you back! We just purchased a new Sunst Trail travel trailer from these guys. Josh H was our sales contact and made the experience enjoyable. Josh made himself available to answer questions but also allowed my wife, son, and I told spend a couple hours going through every trailer on the lot. It was exactly what we wanted to do and when we were ready, we went and found him to finalize the sale. Other lots immediately had salesmen come and not leave us alone. It is through their online sales department for this location in Nipomo. Since the drive is quite far from my husband I, we used our joint email to discuss pricing over email before visiting their actual physical store in Nipomo. I found one of their sales rep sarcastic and decided to not visit this dealer in person based off that interaction with an employee who is working at this particular location. Both my husband and I were not happy with our email thread for pricing with Aaron Walch. I have no idea why my review got taken down so I added some more detail to solidify that I did have an experience at this business. All in all I had a very good transaction with trailer hitch. Only reason for four stars was because the first associate wasn't as helpful as the second. They got me a trailer in the time frame I needed. They were also willing and able to change the trailer online with a down payment. I could of got a better deal one other place within a radius but couldn't get it in time. Trailer hitch delivered and that's why they got my business. The price was still very fair for the trailer i got 2020 Grand Design 2500RL. Easy paperwork process, easy and fast hitch hook up. Would definitely recommend this place again. I will see if I have any warranty issues with my trailer and see how they take care of those. They carry a lot of trailers on hand and are able to get quite a few quickly. read more

We just bought our Grand Design Imagine trailer from Trailer Hitch RV. We live about four hours away but after communicating with several dealers, Trailer Hitch gave us the lowest price so it was worth the trip. We set a day and time to pick it up, Aaron was our salesman. We were treated well upon arrival, and they had the trailer set up and waiting. We went through a thorough orientation with Joe who did a great job going through every single mechanism and function with us. Then the hitch technician (cant remember his name) went through the hitch process with my husband, answering any questions. We finished the sale and signed all the papers with Aaron who was efficient and friendly. The trailer was clean and in perfect condition. I can't speak more highly of this place. My husband and I were newbies to purchasing a travel trailer, and we found the perfect couple's trailer for the two of us at an RV place in Morgan Hill. Unfortunately, we were getting screwed around with by everyone at this shop and decided since we found the trailer we wanted, we would just go somewhere else. I guess when life hands you lemons.... thats when we found Trailer Hitch RV, more specifically Erik. I called, got Erik, asked him about the trailer, and immediately felt like we were in good hands. Erik was great at communication, taking all my dumb questions. He explained the process to us. We were very weary about purchasing a trailer we haven't seen yet, but Erik helped us through that process. Even when we had an issue with our already set up financing, he moved to fix it quickly and we ended up with ever better terms. Next Erik set me up with Steve in service to book our orientation. Steve was great at helping us figure out if/what we wanted to add to our trailer. You know you are with a good company when they encourage you to take the trailer as is, and use it, before you add anything on. We ended up only adding one solar panel and the anti-sway/stabilizer on the trailer (for safety). When we arrived for our pick up day, they had our trailer out front and center. Joe took us through a very thorough orientation, and walked us through everything. Joe was very patient and answered all our first timer questions. Then we moved to Dan, in financing, who made the paperwork part VERY easy. Explained what I was signing, and even gave our dog some love when she grew impatient with the sitting. Even with a little hiccup, Dan moved swiftly through it and made me feel like a VIP. On our way out, the service and parts helped us with the hitch letting us take videos and also walking us through it a couple times. Honestly, with the old RV place in Morgan Hill I was left frustrated with the RV buying process. Trailer Hitch RV and everyone there completely changed my mind. After one day of camping with our trailer, I woke up to an email from Erik asking how things were going... and when I asked him a question he even answered it! Now that is service. what started out as one of the easiest transactions I've ever made with friendly staff quickly turned into the deal of nightmares. Immediately after leaving the lot with our trailer, the dealer became a ghost. No longer the happy, friendly guy that told us to "text if you need anything!" We had warranty work that needed to be completed and it took what felt like an act of congress to get in touch with anyone. We finally got ahold of Derek. He seemed to know what was what and got us in for service. Mind you, we are full time RVers. This is our home. They initially told us that they'd only have it a few days. On top of the warranty work, we talked about putting solar on. The service department asked what we wanted to run and told us the system we ultimately bought could run everything and more. With all of that, they ended up keeping the trailer for a week and after telling us we could pick it up early afternoon, we didn't leave until well into the evening. We figured that would be the last of it. We could be done with this nightmare. But lo and behold , the system they sold us couldn't even run the fridge on "off grid mode" for 6 hours after being in the sun for an entire day. More unanswered phone calls and voicemails later, we were told to "check our expectations." at this point, my expectation was to just be able to plug in. They wired something wrong and we couldn't even do that. On top of all of this, during the week of service they left small metal screws and staples on the ground where our 9 month old plays. We are finally at hopefully our last interaction with this business and even this has been a headache. Dropping it off for an hours long service at 10 but now at 5 pm we're just hoping we don't have to stay in a hotel overnight because they couldn't be bothered to answer their phones. Update: we thought we were at our last interaction with this company. That was a lie. Their fix was a bandaid and were still having the same issue with the solar they put on the trailer. They blame us for their faulty wiring. I reiterate. Do not ever use this company. read more

Purchased a new Rockwood Mini Lite travel trailer 2 weeks ago. On our first time using it we found the heater would not work. The service department tried very hard to help over the phone but nothing worked. Unfortunately it was cold and raining. Derek had us bring the trailer back to the service department where they promptly diagnosed and repaired the problem. Forest River had wired the thermostat incorrectly and unfortunately we did not try the heater during our pre delivery walk through. Derek did a wonderful job overseeing the repairs and also making sure we were very satisfied with the service. I also purchased a weight distribution - anti sway towing hitch assembly at the same time and had them do the installation. Immediately upon leaving I felt excessive sway and bounce towing down the highway. When I brought the trailer back for the heater repair I mentioned this issue to Derek who immediately made arrangements with the hitch department to check out the problem. At the hitch department I met Eddie who stopped whatever he was doing to help me. Eddie immediately noticed that the hitch assembly was not set up properly and apologized profusely since they did the installation. Again, unfortunately Eddie was on vacation during the original installation. Eddie disassembled, took all the necessary height measurements and required leveling measurements and reassembled the hitch and anti sway bars with correct number of washers the correct ball height and weight distribution. Eddie spent a lot of time with all the details and it showed. Once on the highway I instantly noticed the difference. The improvement with the correct installation was amazing!! The trailer now tows perfectly, the truck and trailer are perfectly level and feel so much safer towing. I had an issue with the refrigerator as I was getting ready for a trip to Flying Flags camp ground. The morning I got on the road I called the service department at trailer hitch RV . I spoke with a young man named Kevin. He was so very professional and went way and beyond out of his way to help . The technician that was supposed to come out called in sick so he scrabbled and had another technician come out within two hours. The technicians name was Preston . He showed, got right to work and solved my problem within 30 minutes. He even noticed that I was getting toomuch air to my hot water and adjusted it . He was professional and very polite. It's nice to know we have young men out there that take their job very serious and go out of their way to accommodate your needs . read more

We had an AMAZING experience purchasing our RV this past weekend. We had been searching for a 2021 Imagine 2500RL for a few months and thought we had wrapped up a deal with another dealership to find out 24 hours before orientation that our RV wasn't there and they had no ETA on delivery "due to weather". My husband started searching all of CA for the same RV and found it in Nipomo at Trailer Hitch RV. He requested information through the website and received a quick reply from Aaron. We quickly put a deposit down and scheduled our pick-up and orientation 2 days later! They let us know that their service department was super busy but they'd do whatever they needed to do to have it ready for us. And they delivered on that promise. Two days later, we arrived at 9am for our orientation. Before we started with orientation, our truck was taken by Jake to get the hitch ready. How amazing is that?! While they worked on the truck, we started our orientation with Joe. We asked if we could record on video the orientation since this was our first trailer and he of course said "no problem". Joe was so nice and also extremely patient and methodical in explaining every last detail about our RV. We didn't feel the least bit rushed in the whole process despite how busy they were. Once we finished the orientation, we took care of the paperwork and payment with Aaron which took all of 10 minutes. Super easy. We were offered a couple options of a RV "starter kit" which we completely forgot, but it was nice of him to offer! We headed back to our RV where they had our truck ready to hitch to the trailer. Jake was great, showing us exactly how to connect the truck and also showed us how to get the truck electronic "set up" for the trailer entered. He even helped and explained installation of the Equalizer sway system we purchased and had brought with us. Knowing this was our first trailer, he let us know the easiest way to get back to highway 101 and get us comfortable driving with a trailer for the first time. What a great experience!!! The whole day could not have gone smoother. Aaron, Joe and Jake were awesome and were eager to help with anything we needed. Fantastic customer service from beginning to end. We are so happy to have purchased our Imagine RV with them. Should we decide to get another RV in the future, we'll definitely look to them again!! read more
