Do not see Charlotte Tunnell. She cannot accept or acknowledge when she makes a mistake. If you…read moreadvocate for yourself or ask for the bare minimum of decent treatment she will lash out. She was 15 minutes late for two appointments in a row. The second time she didn't have her notes or any information about me ready and refused to get ready. Months and months of progress just gone. She cannot seem to remember anything about her patients without these notes. She asked me what we had talked about previously and what she has previously said to me. When I filled her in, she didn't seem to believe me. You'd think a mental health practitioner would be able to recognize gaslighting. When I asked if we should reschedule for a time when the full hour is available and she has her notes in front of her she agreed. She said she would tell the office to call me to reschedule (unlike other providers there she won't take part in scheduling appointments), but she never did that. Instead she sent me a letter saying she wouldn't see me anymore (with typos). I had previously been seeing a therapist at a different practice in addition to Charlotte Tunnell here for medication management, but no matter how much paperwork I did and how many times Charlotte said she would communicate with my therapist she never actually did. Then, she would have no memory of telling me she would do this. So, I switched to a therapist at Healthy Mind (Deborah, who is great) and again Charlotte said she would communicate with my therapist and did not. The only time she communicated with my therapist about me was AFTER she decided to never see me again. I had repeatedly told Charlotte there was only one type of medication I had been on before that had given me a bad reaction and that I didn't want to go on again. Want to guess if she listened to that? Once I got sick I let my therapist know I couldn't take it any more and she said it would be fine to wait until my next appointment with Charlotte to bring this up and that I didn't need to move my appointment up. Yet, in Charlotte's termination letter to me she used me not moving my appointment up as part of her reasoning to terminate our relationship. I am shocked at the lack of professionalism. This woman is on a power trip and only cares about controlling people. She talks more about herself and her life than she asks about yours. Do not see her.

They say they no a no tolerance for stealing but yet they do nothing about it, even when there is proof. There are people who are known current theifs and improperly take their meds to get high, steal money that is to be used for clients food and spend it on themselves, and meet strange men met on the internet to make a side buck to be their House managers. When clients have come to the owners about these issues NOTHING is done. This puts clients mental health at risk but they don't seem to care. If they don't have anyone to cover these positions they just let the problem ones keep their job with no repercussions. The tech Jerome and Mary who does sound bath are the only trustable and reliable employees there. Corey is the owner and is afraid of confrontation so he would rather not confront the issues instead of improve his business. I have personally seen items get stolen from my friend and the person who did it got a job as a House Manager. I said well I have dual coverage so how would that work she then said you have to call. I was previously a medical office manager and I know when folks are seeking help the last thing they want to do is sit and call their insurance and hope they are staying the right information to get the cost. Lori really listened to my concerns in my intake and helped me find a balance I feel okay with. I was concerned about remembering to take something; she suggested something with a longer half-life so if I forget a day I'm still ok. She seems to recognize the memory issue, AS a symptom, not non-compliance. I highly highly recommend her. I've heard good things about the other folks there too.

After his first visit with Shannon Brown, my 13 year old came out with a big smile on his face. A…read more'real' smile, for the first time in over 15 months. What a beautiful sight it was. She is helping him deal with major family upheaval. He has had more stress and disappointment than anybody deserves in a lifetime, much less at the onset of adolescence. Depression, confusion dealing with his feelings, and anger have been the results. He feels that Shannon really listens, she 'gets it', and she knows the right questions and conversation starters to get to the heart of the problem. She also has managed to quickly give us, his parents, the bottom line, and pointers on what we can do (or stop doing) to help him, without betraying his trust or privacy at all.
