He also truly enjoys going... he anticipates the drive there and yells out, "There's my school!" when we turn the corner onto Coal Mine. :) I was even more convinced we made the right choice when, at his Kindergarten informational night, we were given a handout of the "80 things your child should know to be ready for Kindergarten" and our son had 78 of them down pat already. And he still has four more months of preschool left! My daughter has another year until she's in pre-K, but guess where she'll be going? :)

There appears to be clear favoritism among children and staff, which is unfair and unacceptable in a professional childcare setting. In addition, the quality of care and supervision is poor, raising concerns about the emotional well-being and treatment of the children. Harassment, unprofessional conduct, and lack of proper leadership should not be tolerated in a place responsible for caring for kids. I am deeply concerned about the childcare environment and the treatment of children at this center. It appears that children of different races and nationalities, including Black and Hispanic children, may be treated unfairly or discriminated against. The facility is also very dirty, has strong unpleasant odors, and does not appear to be cleaned professionally or maintained properly. Many children seem to get sick frequently, which raises serious concerns about sanitation, health, and safety standards. Management and leadership do not seem to take these issues seriously or make necessary improvements for the well-being of the children.

After being in the LPL system for ~2 years, we were forced to find other child care due to high…read morestaff turnover and vacancies that began to result in random class/school closures. That would have just been a headache to deal with, but we have also been owed a significant amount of money due to account balance in our favor since leaving in May 2022 (time of posting - 10/2022). We have talked to every level of the corporate structure multiple times with promises every time that it will be reimbursed within 24 hours. Clearly those have been empty promises. This also happened to a more limited extent when we were still enrolled, where it would take multiple efforts to be reimbursed for "vacation" days or pandemic related closures. If you are currently enrolled here, make sure any account balance in your favor has been fully reimbursed prior to leaving while you still have some small measure of leverage.

My pre-k kiddo comes home weekly with a report of what she learned that week, how she did and what she will be learning the following week. The director is very responsive and flexible. They opened up options for school age kids when public schools were shut down due to COVID by staffing a teacher to help the kids get through their remote learning. Since I work full time, this was a life saver. Pre COVID- they planned events like parents night out, sleep overs on NYE, options for weekend care so parents could go Christmas shopping, camp outs, mother's, father's and grandparent's day and other fun additions for families and kids.

We interviewed with La petite academy and It went very great friendly and they just made you feel comfortable. Our daughter was scheduled to be there from 10 AM to 4 PM I was nervous leaving her because she wasn't yet completely potty trained so I decided to put her in a pull-up just in case.. when I picked her up her teacher ""Emily""" told me they had gone outside and I really should bring snow pants and boots for her next time but for the time being she borrowed extras which was fine with me. As the conversation continued I asked her if my daughter used the potty or hadhad any accidents today, she replied with "" not that I know of""" when I went over to greet my daughter .. the bottom of her pants and socks were soaking wet. I was pretty annoyed because she had extra change of clothes. As we are getting ready to leave and she stood up her pants were sagging down because of her pull up was full of urine.. she was not changed all day. When I asked to speak to the supervisor """Andrea"" I was told she was busy in the infant room.. I called several times that day and never got a callback. As to this day I've never heard from her.. do not put your children in this daycare..

We started…read moreour daughter at 6 weeks (which was hard enough as it is), and they were so kind and understanding of my hesitation to leave my brand new baby with strangers. They encouraged my husband and I to pop in whenever we wanted (even before her official start date), and are so kind when I just need to sneak in some baby snuggles and breastfeeding before packing her up to leave. They have been super accommodating of dealing with her cloth diapering and letting us know when we're running low on supplies (if you go with disposable diapers they actually provide those for you!!). The phone app is great too, they send you constant updates throughout the day of how much and when she's eating and going potty...they have even sent over the occasional picture. We love it here and LOVE the staff in the infant room!
