I was not sure what to expect, but from the beginning they knocked it out of the park. I joined the 2 month course from January 2023. Live classes were very interactive. Met bunch of new people and worked with them to complete a project was very helpful instead of just reading for the certification. The only thing I was not happy about is they cancelled the exam to get certified as a PM. Now you just have to complete the project and class to get certification. Hope they change this soon. Our instructor "Ronke" was amazing. She shares wonderful insights from her experience as a successful Product manager. She is very inspirational and always upbeat. Her knowledge that she shares with the class is unparalleled. As an aspiring PM she makes sure you know exactly what you would face in the real life.

Joel Palathinkal had good insight and tips on how to land a job however he did not spend an extensive amount of time on the course material. Joel gives you more material than the course plans however to be successful, you must put in your own work outside of the course like read the material and prepare questions. This instructor will promise to follow up with you and support you throughout your career but will disappear after the class.

I was really impressed by how nice the facilities and equipment were. And they even provided snacks! The classes followed the Apple-dictated structure, but our Emmy-awarded (!!!) instructor, Scott, was always able to offer extra tips and even showed us his favorite industry blogs and websites. The class was really well paced, with plenty of breaks, and Scott is a very patient man. Much more patient than I..... classmates, ya know? However, the class size was super small, so that really helped that he was able to give individual attention when needed, and did a great job at keeping everyone at the same pace. At the end of the class, I decided to take the Apple Certification for FCPX Level One - I passed with FLYING COLORS! The class REALLY prepared me well for it, and I did as Scott suggested - spent a week studying on my own with just the book (that they provide you & you get to keep)! I looked into the Training Farm and what enticed me to try them out, was their one-on-one training sessions. I knew I was too advanced for beginning PP6 and I really didn't want to go through the mechanisms of "what is a timeline" and go into a beginner's class. I also work full time, can't just take a weekday off for what is usually their scheduled 3-day sessions, and I was paying for this class out of my own pocket, so I wanted the most bang for my buck. One of my frustrations with these types of establishments, is that I often feel that I am learning some things, going over things I mostly know, but the class never really focuses on the things I REALLY want to know. So, after some back and forth emailing with the Training Farm about my needs and expectations, I signed up for a one-on-one session. After sitting down with my instructor in the beginning to outline what I would like to learn, my interests and issues when editing, the instructor went through each of my requests. I learned at least 3 things that I wish I knew earlier that week when a big project was due, that would have made my life easier in post. That was definitely worth the money. The instructor was patient and knowledgable and tried to ensure that I wasn't skipping over anything he thought I needed to know. The facility is nice and clean and my session took place in a private room. The instructor worked on a computer, which was attached to a large screen, and I was able to follow along on the other computer. I am not going to give them 5 stars as I feel that I would need to take an actual class as opposed to one-on-one to assess them better. But overall, I would definitely come back here again for lessons.

I think very highly of the staff and am grateful to the owner who had to make the necessary financial, and educational commitments to be recognized by the stringent policies of OSHA, Department of Buildings, and the EPA to name a few. The staff had raised the bar to educate me that allowed for my success at passing city examinations as is required by law. The administrative staff are well acquainted in various programs, all course offerings, and include specialty knowledge needed relating to required scheduling of medical examinations, protective breathing respirators, and numerous deadlines for license renewals. I was fortunate that they offered me financial support, without which I might not have followed through. However, after the testing and exit interview, I think that the Foundation provides an excellent value for their services. If I had to go back and put the cost on my own credit card, not knowing how I would pay for it, I would do it in a heartbeat and consider it an excellent investment. Knowledge of self is the most precious thing we can have, and generally speaking, money can't buy it. It's regrettable that these services are still reserved for those who can pay, but the Foundation does a really good job keeping their pricing within the reach of many, much more so than if it were a for-profit operation. I'd recommending these tests for anyone who's interested, at any stage in their career.

He is…read moresuper well versed with Excel, a fantastic teacher, and hilarious (seriously, Mike - can we be friends?). He had us laughing for 4 straight hours...all the while, we learned awesome tips and techniques about how to most efficiently use Excel. It's amazing how much time many of us waste doing things manually. I never realized how simple it is to use the methods/shortcuts that Mike teaches. What I like is that laptops are not needed, and while you're free to take notes, it's not necessary. Mike style of teaching is to keep drilling a concept over and over until it sticks. Quite frankly, it worked. So glad I took this class. Compared to what else is out there, I think $89 for this class is pretty reasonable. Nowww I just have to practice.
