They never made me feel rushed or judged, and they took the time to make sure my dog felt as comfortable as possible. You can tell they're not just skilled at what they do--they truly love what they do. Every interaction felt thoughtful and intentional, and their professionalism gave me so much confidence that my dog was in the best hands. It's not easy to find a vet team that balances expertise with compassion this well, but Dr. Ables and his staff absolutely do. I'm beyond grateful and wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog's care. Highly, highly recommend.

We brought Pippa here for an abscess/wound on her hindquarters and paid nearly $900 for her…read moreemergency visit, sedation, wound repair, medications, and other treatment. Our original invoice specifically states "Please schedule a 7 day recheck -- $0.00," "Suture Removal in 12-14 days -- $0.00," and "READY TO GO -- All Services in Visit List -- $0.00." Based on that invoice, we reasonably understood the 7-day recheck to be part of her postoperative care. When we returned for that scheduled recheck, we waited about an hour and the doctor looked at her incision for approximately a minute. We were then charged an additional $55. When we questioned the charge and pointed out what our original invoice said, we were told that although the recheck appears as $0 on the original invoice, they charge for the doctor visit when you actually return. That explanation made very little sense to us. The invoice has separate "Price" and "Total" columns, and the 7-day recheck is listed as $0.00 in both. If the recheck actually carried an additional $55 exam fee that simply wasn't being charged on the day of Pippa's procedure, we would have expected that fee to be reflected in the price or, at minimum, clearly disclosed to us. Instead, the requested postoperative recheck was presented on our invoice as a $0 service, and we were only told about the additional fee after we returned for it. We asked that our concern be sent to management and requested a refund. When we returned again for Pippa's suture removal, we brought it up and were told management still had not responded. It has now been approximately two weeks since our initial complaint and we still have not received a response. The $55 itself isn't the main reason for this review. What bothers us is the way the postoperative care was handled. After spending nearly $900 treating our cat, we expected the practice to be concerned with making sure her surgical wound was healing properly without turning a very brief scheduled postoperative check into another unexpected charge. The lack of response from management after we specifically raised the issue has made the experience even more disappointing. It left us feeling that collecting an additional fee for a quick follow-up was more important than providing transparent, patient-centered postoperative care. Pippa's medical treatment itself so far appears successful, and we're grateful that her wound is healing. But the billing practices and lack of communication afterward have caused us to lose confidence in this practice, and we will be taking our pets elsewhere in the future.

five stars all around! Martina is the best & my pup Steve loves her…read more I found Martina on Yelp--my now husband and I were going away for our destination wedding & we needed someone to care for our 13YO pup. I have never left him with anyone other than my parents / sister to care for him. Martina came over to our home for a meet & greet & Steve immediately took to her. He seemed comfortable and happy around her. We left him with her for just over a week & I felt so at peace. Martina posted plenty of pictures of Steve on her IG page so I was able to see what he was up to and he seemed to be having the time of his life over there. I was worried he would not want to come back home! Martina is awesome at communicating and is very pleasant to be around. I will never take Stevie anywhere else. Thank you for being so good to our old pup.

Martina & her pack were amazing!…read more We were nervous about leaving our girl Bailey with anyone but family, but we instantly knew it would be a good fit after the initial meet and greet. It takes a while for Bailey to warm up to humans but Martina allowed Bailey to warm up to her at her own pace. After the trial half day, we were excited that Bailey would be in great hands and would have friends to play with!! We left Bailey with Martina for a little under a week and we are so happy with the love and attention Martina provided Bailey. She was very professional and kept us updated every day, either through videos/photos on instagram or through text. Bailey looked so happy in all the photos and videos!!! If we could give more stars, we would. We would recommend Martina & Waggy Trails to anyone in need of pet sitting, day care, or dog walking. This was such an easy and great experience and we are so thankful to Waggy Trails for treating Bailey as one of their own!

This is a bit long, but stick with me, it's worth the read. :)…read more I want to share this because I know how overwhelming life with dogs can feel when things spiral out of control, and because truly great dog trainers are rare. Last year, I lost my dog Chloe. I had her for 15 years, and losing her completely broke my heart. Afterward, I adopted Lily, a multipoo who had never been out of a cage. She came from a puppy mill and was deeply traumatized. She shook constantly, wouldn't come to me, wouldn't let me touch her, and had severe anxiety. She was peeing and pooping in the house nonstop. I tried everything I knew. I tried love, patience, reassurance. Nothing worked. I was exhausted and completely at a loss. Then life threw me another curveball. A client of mine broke her hip after tripping over her dog and had to move into assisted living. I took in her one-year-old Schipperke named Daisy. If you aren't familiar with this breed, 'the little black devil.' Daisy is the sweetest, smartest dog in the world and also an absolute mischievous chainsaw in a tiny body. Endless energy, barking at people and dogs, running through the house nonstop, biting my neighbor on the ankle and even the gardener, and bullying Lily relentlessly. My house turned into chaos overnight. On top of that, I still had my 13-year-old dog Rocky, who is basically the best-behaved dog on the planet and thankfully not part of the problem. I didn't know what to do anymore. That's when I called Jennifer. Jen took Daisy for a two-week board-and-train, and when Daisy came home, she was a completely different dog. Not perfect, but honestly a million times better. She sleeps in a crate now, no longer bullies Lily, listens extremely well, and while she still barks, it's nothing like before. We're still working on it with Jen, but the transformation was incredible. After that, I sent Lily to Jen. What happened next honestly felt like a miracle. Lily no longer pees or poops in the house. She sleeps in a crate. She comes when I call her. She's happy. She plays. She acts like a dog now, not a scared abuse victim. She still has moments of anxiety and fear, but she is doing a million times better, and the difference is night and day. Jen didn't just train my dogs. She gave them structure, confidence, and safety. She gave me peace in my own home again. She understands dogs on a level that is rare, especially dogs with trauma, anxiety, and behavioral challenges. If you are struggling, overwhelmed, or don't know what else to do, I cannot recommend Jen enough. She is patient, intuitive, honest, and incredibly skilled. She truly changed our lives.
