The location is beautiful and very easy to walk to most of town, which is eclectic and fun. The hospital is walkable from there, 20 min. Don't count on taxis. There's a trolley that stops close to the parking lot of the hotel. Our room was on the trolley side and it was not bothersome to us, and of course doesrun at night. They have a restaurant called The Knot. We didn't try any of their food, but I did have the tomatoes bisque soup 2x. It was delicious. The beds are super marshmallow soft. You are swallowed up initially when you get in. If you have trouble with a super soft bed -beware. Nice esthetics. Hand crafted tea assortment and sea salt for a soak. Clementines itself was great. The innkeeper was very nice and helpful with any questions that we had about what to do or where to go. Our room was...."roomy".....comfortable and full of personality. Clementines also allows pets which is a nice consideration so we were able to bring our puppy along for the trip. The breakfast was simple yet good with a very homey feel sitting around the breakfast table chatting with the other people staying over and with the innkeeper and her help. We would definitely recommend staying here if you ever find yourself in Astoria....you should make reservations first.....and there's no minimum stay, so stay for a night, two nights or more. We were short on time, but you can bet we'll be back to search for One-eyed-Willie's treasure..and when we do we'll be staying at Clementines Bed & Breakfast.
