Pleasantly surprised and feeling relaxed afterward. Thank you! The masseuse checked in about pressure throughout the massage, which was spot-on. Worked on tense muscle areas without me even pointing them out. It seems they've made updates since prior reviews. Calming music is played throughout, towels and bolsters are in rooms, and blanket wraps for foot massages. Would certainly return. read more

There's a bit of a language barrier but they have phones that have a translation program, so don't be afraid to stop in. I had a foot & back massage combo, which was well worth the price. Matter of fact, I also tipped him heavily because I was appreciative of the excellent work. I felt great afterwards!! p.s. It was a sad day for a massage here. I went in to get an appointment as they weren't answering the phone. That should've been my first clue to not come in lol. When I went into the space, there were two flies battling each other. It was also a very rundown facility. The woman who was to massage me started her massage with hands that were shaking uncontrollably. It was so bad that I had to stop her and tell her that her hands were shaking. She commented that if she didn't do it "hard", it would be OK. I let her continue but the hands didn't stop shaking. The other woman walked in, showed her how to massage and then walked out. The lady then continued to massage and struck one of my bones in my neck. She left the room and I knew the massage was over at 20 minutes in. I stood up & when she came back in she kept saying 30 minutes, 30 minutes. She encouraged me to get the rest of the Massage. She wiped off the oil and I dressed at 20 minutes. When I went out to the lobby, she tried to charge me $50 for 30 minutes. She knew her hands were shaking; she knew we didn't make it 20 minutes. I told her she needed to not put her hands on anyone else until she grounded herself. I told her to go in the back and drink some tea. She tried to argue with me. I felt bad so I gave her $30. The roughest, most brutal massage I have ever had in 40 years. But let me back up. I had a massage scheduled and when I called to change the appointment time, suddenly no one could speak English and they hung up on me. Again. And again. And the people in the background were raising their voices and it sounded like a fight. I showed up the next day as no one understood me on the phone and no one spoke one word of English. The man behind the counter spoke into his phone using a translator app. He asked me (through the app) if I wanted to buy more time and I said yes. The bathroom was located in the back of their house which is when I discovered the family lives in the back of the shop. It added to the uncomfortable situation. The man showed me to the massage room and told me to undress. Not actually 'told' me, but motioned to me to take my clothes off. However, there was no sheet to cover up with and no bolster for my legs. No soft music and no spa experience. There was no essential oils and no hot stones which was indicated on the Groupon. So this man started my massage with no oil or 'warm up' before he started shoving me with so much pressure it took my breath away. I asked him to soften up and he did for about 2 minutes before the torture continued. Other clients were now checking in and the man working on me opened my door with my booty exposed!!! The door was OPEN while he tried to translate with other clients. Loudly!! One woman was on the other side of the wall from me and was getting a hot stone massage. Another customer came in and tried to pay an additional $15 for more time and the woman at the counter had no idea what was being said so the man torturing me left the room again for 10 minutes trying to understand a customer giving them money. My face was in the cradle when all of a sudden another person was massaging me! Out of the blue! She walked in the (opened) door and just started working on me. The customer on the other side of the wall was speaking at the top of her lungs, customers at the counter trying to pay, my door left wide open with my booty out and everytime someone walked in the door some blaring announcement let the staff know someone was coming in. No one in the shop spoke English and I felt like it was the Twilight Zone. I asked the new lady working on me if she could get the hot stones and she had no idea what I was saying. After 10 minutes she walked out of the open door and the man came back in. I asked him for hot stones and he had no idea what I was saying so he got out his phone translator. (Which is part of the Groupon!!! How can they not know what it is???) When we finally figured out what the other person was saying, he brought two, yes two, hot stones in the room and put them on the bed, not me. He warmed his hands on them and then rubbed my back. And even though I repeatedly asked him to go softly, he got on top of the bed for leverage and started pushing harder. With the loud customers, the staff speaking to each other over the walls, out the door and speaking haltingly in their language, the bell sounding, the lack of essential oils and no hot stones was enough. I will NEVER return to this mad house. It has been exactly one week and I am still in pain. My shoulders ache, I have had migraines and my body feels like it was hit by a truck. read more

Was really nice and relaxing. My only complaints are I wish it was dark inside and more quiet, when someone walks in you can hear every word. Prices are a little steep compared to Los Angeles where it's $35 for an hr combo massage, here it is $80 which is still cheaper than all of their competitors in the area but their competitors are a more upscale establishment. Will go back again to try the 1 hour full body massage for $70 read more
