This place is absolutely the best dentist office I've ever visited. The staff is friendly, helpful, professional, very courteous! I don't worry about anything when I'm scheduled to go because I know they are going to take care of everything dealing with my insurance or setting me on a monthly payment plan. The atmosphere is always so warm, inviting, and full of seasonal cheers. I'm always inviting people there when they're having dental problems, because I know they will be well pleased with the service. They also will see you on short notice. I broke a tooth on Thursday night and Friday afternoon I was sitting in a chair getting it repaired. I was so grateful!! read more

I moved to the Baton Rouge area about a year and a half ago. I was referred to one dentist who was great, but because of my super hectic schedule, I really needed a dentist who was open on evenings or Saturdays. I did some research and found Dr. Tran. His staff is extremely competent. Each person I came into contact with was personable, professional and courteous. They did an expert job on routine things like x-rays and cleaning. And, as a previous reviewer mentioned, did not jam the floss onto my gums during the cleaning. They also offer a few sedation options for those of us who have a bit of anxiety regarding dentist visits. Because some of us have had bad experiences, some of us just do not like the sound of the drill, and any number of other reasons, we require something that help us get through the procedure. Dr. Tran is very receptive to your input, questions, requests, etc. He works with you rather than just relying on some one thing that he is hooked on doing. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my first visit and intend to continue going. Oh, and did I mention that they have a beautiful and relaxing office? It's quite lovely there, and they have a convenient location, with plenty of parking. It all works for me! read more

5 stars across the board!! I've been coming to Dr. Tran for some years now and I must say he is my favorite dentist ever. I feel the most important element to any health visit is EDUCATE YOUR PATIENTS and this clinic goes over and beyond time after time. I've never left this place and had a question because they are sure you have a understanding. They are also very considerate of time which is a huge plus. Clean environment and the staff takes pride in what they do. They are beyond festive too all you see is ugly Christmas sweaters and beautiful decorations!! I can't say enough about them. When looking for a dentist you should want consistency, patience, someone who is about to explain things on whatever level you are and they hit the mark. Wow! This is by far the best dentist office I've ever used, and I've lived all over the country! These people are great, so professional, so knowledgeable, AND honest!! I came in for an exam and had a small cavity, but was worried about cost. They were HONEST with me, and said that the cavity was small & nothing too serious or time-sensitive. Instead of pressuring me to buy all sorts of services, they gently made recommendations and said that I could easily wait a few weeks before dealing with the cavity. FIVE STARS by far, these guys are great. So glad to have finally found some decent professionals in this city! read more

I recently moved to Baton Rouge and decided to go here for my annual exam and cleaning based on the yelp reviews. The new patient radiographs & exam was only $50. The dentist recommended I have 3 fillings performed for "soft spots". I previously was getting my teeth cleaned every 6 months by the same dentist for the last 10 years with no cavities so you can imagine I was shocked to go to a new dentist and be told I had 3. I got a second opinion with another dentist who saw no need for fillings and couldn't identify the problem areas they were referring to. I strongly suspect this was a scam trying to make a profit back by recommending fillings (Estimated $800 in work) given their loss when they offer new patient exam & radiographs for $50. read more

I've built a relationship with this business & sent several co workers & friends there! I loved this place & built a relationship and shared good news such as weddings and pregnancies! Im a person that does not like change! So when i called to question my insurance company on whyyyyy im paying so much he tells me that my dentist changed policy and is no longer in network! I feel like if we can talk about everything else why this wasnt brought to my attention! Spoke to the manager about it and was told it wasnt their responsibility after charging me $350 to advise clients of changes such as this! Not cool and I want to make it clear if i would've been told i still would've visited for annual appointments and wouldve found someone in network for extra services such as deep cleaning, fillings etc! What puts the icing on the cake is when i called for clarification i was told suprisenenly i had a $50 credit sitting on my account? This was never told to me! I do believe that was just to butter me up after them making $300 off of me! I will never step foot back into Transdental because i feel the niceness wasnt sincere & it was because they made money off of me without me knowing! Now my dental insurance has been billed and i cannot see another dentist without paying full price because my insurance company covers 1 annual visit per year! Prior to my visit, the insurance representative at Transdental called me 4 times to get help locating my policy online with my insurancecompany , NOT ONCE did he mention they were no longer in network! That was the opportunity then! When i was told the portion i had to pay, i complained to the hygienist and receptionist and was NOT told it was because they were no longer in network! THIS IS PART OF CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ADVISE YOUR LOYAL CLIENTS WHEN POLICY CHANGES TAKES PLACE AT YOUR FACILITY! Working for the University of New Orleans & handling Medicaid Insurance daily, i will make sure i do Transdental a BIG favor in advising all of my co workers that our insurance is no longer in network since Transdental feels as if they don't have to! read more

I've had mostly mediocre experiences with dentists over my life so I was expecting more of the same when I came for my appointment but I couldn't have been more wrong. They first took an X-Ray and the technician was very kind. The hygienist was also great. She didn't jam the floss down on your gums like most of them do. She took care with what she was doing and she was also very nice. Dr. Tran himself was equally as pleasant. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and why, very clearly. Unlike many doctors, he took the time to listen to my questions and didn't rush me out of the office. All very appreciated from me. I usually hate the dentist like most people but this was a pretty positive experience overall. read more

We recently relocated to Baton Rouge and my wife and I were understandably nervous about selecting a new dentist. Thanks to some other folk's reviews, we tried Dr. Tran first and we were instantly hooked. They have an amazingly friendly & helpful staff, and everyone from the front counter to the patient rooms is smiling and is very, very friendly. a few months ago I had my teeth cleaned & X-rayed, and actually enjoyed the experience. I had to have a cracked filling replaced just yesterday, and had ZERO discomfort and ZERO pain. I didn't even notice getting the shot to numb the area, where my other dentist would always pinch me or make it uncomfortable. I will never postpone dental work ever again for fear of it hurting or making me uncomfortable - Dr. Tran and his office is GREAT. read more

The service here is top notch! I drive from New Orleans to Baton Rouge just to get the experience that I deserve. The environment is very clean and feels super professional without the feeling of the staff reciting words like robots. They make you feel right at home the minute you walk through those doors. I've asked them plenty of questions and they're always willing to answer them without making you feel inferior. I love that about them! Cleaning your teeth can be a frightful experience already, but they make you feel like family and are always willing to take their time with you, so that you won't feel like a nuisance. Very modern, VERY CLEAN office and GREAT affordable services/prices. This isn't an ordinary dental office, it has gorgeous, high ceilings :) I just had a full exam, then went back for an extraction and bone marrow transplant. I was in and out in 1 hour and 15 mins - and that includes the wait time at sign in. Usually, dental offices have long wait times, but not here. Timing is everything to me right now because I have a little baby at home, so their scheduling was perfect! My dentist, Dr. Tran, and his assistant, Brittany, are so funny!! They made me feel very relaxed, comfortable and at ease for my extraction that I was so nervous about. I'm actually going back there AGAIN for a teeth cleaning! :) They're going to make my teeth beautiful! Love this place! THANK YOU! read more
