It has been several months when Josh Mancilla performed the micro blading on my wife's eye brows but job was poor, the sad part about this is looking at her facing the mirror every morning and in most cases crying due to her eye brows look horrible. I contacted Josh few weeks after to discuss the issue but he refused to accept his mistake. He takes only cash that way you cannot dispute the charges. he did not follow a pattern, clearly he did not do a mapping at all while working on my wife's eye brows and here are the results. Josh, I do see your response but be mindful that you did not the appropriate mapping to start with also I declined for you to redo her eye brows because I did not want you to make them worse. My recommendation for you is to be honest with your customers if you know for sure that results won't be as expected or refuse to do the work if you know the outcome won't be great. I wanted to write about my microblading experience. I had been thinking about it for years now, but was deterred for two main reasons: reviews stating the pain involved with the procedure & artists who are good with the procedure, but perhaps not the most skilled at matching eyebrow shapes to the unique facial shapes of each client. *I need to mention I've watched a video of a woman who recorded her experience and made a statement that microblading was worse than getting tattooed on skin over bone. ***NOT THE CASE WITH TRANSCEND The process was great. Everything was explained, the numbing cream used was effective. Throughout the process, Josh asked for input and checked on you. I wanted to write this review in case you are someone who was like me, a little hesitant because of the reviews online from other peoples' experiences. I had time to walk out during the numbing of my brows, but I felt comfortable and got a good feeling about Josh and his abilities. I'm a blonde so it's hard to find a good colorist. Jane has done my hair twice. She's in the process of removing the uneven orange colors blondes tend to get from seeing different stylists. The second visit has truly shown this girl knows what she's doing. I don't even have to tell her what I want, she just knows. Crazy psychic good stuff!! I hate explaining what color/style I want (haha I never know what I want - dinner, outfit, shoes, etc.). She takes her time and gives me advice on all of my concerns - hair products, maintenance, how to keep my hair healthy. I have a lot of hair but it's super fine. I despise washing my hair as I always end up with a tangled rats nest that takes forever to brush. She taught me how to wash and condition in a way to minimize tangles. Such an obvious way to do so, why couldn't I think of that!? I'm in love with the color of my hair, I even love my hair now Didn't know my natural color was so close to the color she used. I don't just go for her excellent expertise and spa like experience (I fell asleep when she washed my hair - better than a foot rub); she's witty, upbeat, cute and I love her choice in music. I had my appointment with Josh to do my eyebrows. I honestly have to say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I spent months researching different microblading salons and having a tough time deciding which one to go to. I'm very particular about my eyebrows and I don't trust many people with them. I stumbled across josh's Instagram when a friend of mine posted a picture of her new brows. I was really impressed with how natural they looked. After looking through his work on Instagram, I knew I wanted him to do my brows. His work was very natural and symmetrical. His strokes were thinner than most other salons I had seen, I couldn't distinguish the real hair from the microbladed hair strokes. I contacted him and asked him a ton of questions. He answered all of them and was very kind and professional. He was even accommodating of my work schedule and saw me the very next week in the evening. I was really nervous at first, I thought it would be painful. He talked me through it and the procedure ended up being quick and tolerable. He used numbing cream which made such a difference. It felt like I was getting my brows threaded, not semipermanently tattooed. He perfectly matched the color of my brows with my natural hair color. My brows took a few weeks to heal, and when they did, I got my touch up. They are now completely healed and I couldn't be happier. I used to spend 20mins minimum in the mornings, drawing on my brows with makeup. Now I don't do anything to them at all, and they look perfect!
