When we walked in we saw military helmets in a glass case, and lots of large, heavy furniture. The facebook page said they were a women's boutique, but the sign said decor, antiques and found items. We saw some women's clothing and some jewelry but for the most part there was an eclectic mix of altered art, some at very high prices, well out of our price range in any case, and miscellany. We really could not figure out what kind of store this is hoping to be. Because they are new I am giving an extra star to give them time to see what inventory moves and define themselves. My companions pretty quickly decided they weren't interested in anything, but I found a basket of some kind of floral head band fairy crown things and decided on one for my granddaughter. At the same time my friends found a new made wooden box with some folk art Noah's Ark scene painted on it. The price was about $35 so I decided to buy it as well. Afterwards I felt like it was kind of an impulse buy, but I did my part to patronize the new business. This store needs a bit of time to get organized and figure out what will sell in Comfort. I've been antique shopping in Comfort for 35 years, and this shop can fill a void from all the shops that have closed their doors in the past decades and moved to antiques malls. But not yet.

We browsed the entire store for 30 minutes or more, yet no one acknowledged us or offered to help us during the time we were there. Some of the items were absolutely gorgeous, while others we browsed, the quality didn't warrant the higher price tag IMO. I might come back if there's something specific I'm looking for or to peruse their lovely candles if in the area, but probably won't make a special trip to return here.
