I fostered a dog from here and eventually adopted him. I continue to volunteer with them because of how well run it is. The dogs that come in all go to see a veterinarian. They receive all their vaccines, dental work, and even surgeries needed. They do a great job of vetting fosters and adopters. Their facility is beautiful and clean. Their adoption fees are very reasonable. They have a wonderful trainer that works with the dogs as well. Dogs go out on field trips, walks, and even visit senior center residents. I definitely recommend this organization.

Bo was my second experience, although he was not in the sanctuary as long, he is still sweet and lovable, and I am greatful to Forever Loved for rescuing both my dogs, and all the other dogs, they help to find forever homes for. I also want to say, I love that they have different ways for people to help them out, even an Amazon wish list, which I go on to donate Green Beans for Miss Ruby and her friends.

It's in quite far-out Scottsdale, but worth the trip and a beautiful drive from Phoenix proper. The largest reptile sanctuary in the US, this place has plenty to see. I love supporting their work rescuing animals abandoned in the exotic pet trade. We visited for a twilight Croc Walk and the highlight here was the staff. They're passionate and informed, willing to answer questions about all the animals. I enjoyed petting some sweet snakes and feeding tortoises some lettuce. Overall, it's cheaper and more intimate than the zoo. I look forward to returning and bringing friends and family who are visiting Arizona. As you would expect, this Goodwill location, sitting in North Scottsdale, delivers in terms of…read morequality. However quantity and organization can sometimes suffer. Today I found several high end items for sale in the clothing section, including a pair of off-white tennis shoes, a couple of Hugo Boss sports coats, and three or four authentic Ralph Lauren sport coats and shirts. And the cashier mentioned that earlier today somebody purchased $1000 purse that was evidently valued at over $3000 and when they combined it with the 20% off coupon, they paid a little under $800. So not bad. This is by no means a huge location and it can be a bit messy, but the women's clothing section dominates with about 60% of the space. The men's racks are pretty jammed packed. so you gotta push through them to find the good stuff, but it's there. Both of the cashiers at this location are really cool, older dudes with a story to tell and a joke to share when you check out. Definitely a location to hit when you're in the area.
