Considering that, plus they were both spayed and neutered, had their shots, and microchipped, the adoption fee is very reasonable. Also they did a home visit to make sure the dogs got along with our other dogs and cats. So much better than just bringing a dog home only to find out it hates cats or is not housetrained! The whole group has been helpful when we had training questions. One of he best small dog rescues in Arizona.

I called in as soon as they opened to see if the beautiful kitten was still available and although I was hoping to meet him that same day, they were not able to accommodate me until the next morning- which was fine by me. When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly staff, got to take a look around the rescue and see some of their other pets. Everyone was clearly passionate about what they do, which was a great sight to see. The animals appeared to be well taken care of. We fell in love with the kitten we came down to meet and decided to adopt him! The process was quick and easy.& their adoption fee was reasonable as it included all shots, neuter and microchip service- all of which were already taken care of! I emailed in about seeing a cat and it took them 5 days to get back to me and I was told to just…read morewalk in which I did. no one was there and when I called they said someone would meet me the next day. they turned up 15 minutes late and I found the cat I wanted to adopt but of course wanted to ensure my home was perfect for her. So I offered to pay and collect her a few days later. they refused and gave her away the next day to someone who apparently just walked in - lucky for them the people were actually there then! They dont care about the cats and dont check homes are good for the cats! should have been a good sign that I was getting everything ready for the cats arrival but they dont care!

I had such a wonderful experience attending the adoption event today, July 18th. It was…read moreincredibly well organized, and there were so many adorable puppies looking for loving foster and forever homes. You could tell how much thought and care went into making the event a success. I had the pleasure of meeting the Founder and Director, Kathy Hamel, and we had such a wonderful conversation. Her passion and dedication to helping these animals was truly inspiring. I also had the opportunity to meet several of the volunteers, and every single person was welcoming, kind, and clearly committed to the organization's mission. It was heartwarming to see so many people coming together to give these dogs a second chance. I left feeling inspired and excited, and I can't wait to work alongside this amazing team in the future. Today's adoption event was busy, with many dogs and potential adopters in attendance. What I witnessed was many volunteers working hard to ensure every animal was handled safely and compassionately, (and some volunteers were holding them in their arms walking thru the crowd so potential adopters could interact with them). Dogs can occasionally become overstimulated in unfamiliar environments and as the dogs were playing in their playpen and getting a little rowdy, the volunteers intervened immediately to ensure that they were all safe. This should never be interpreted as a lack of care. Please let us remember that these are people who VOLUNTEER their time to rescue and save these fur babies. I am attaching pictures that were taken at the actual event today and I have permission to post them in this review. The event was a bit chaotic in knowing how to fill out what to get to meet a dog but it all worked out. We were shocked novody else was interested in this sweet boy and his foster eas very kind and informative to help us make sure he was a good fit for our home. They were also very patient with us running around to grab supplies. While the adoption fee is a bit higher than some rescues there is a tax break and it's nice that majority if the shots were paid and planned along with the neutering. Andy came home healthy with us and immediately took to his big sister who he loves so much. It was nice that he had spent time with his siblings so he was used to having another dog around and is just a great pup for our family! Can't imagine not having adopted him the day we met him.
