Strange from the beginning. Family trying to eat outside in the rain? It was 8:45, once in side there was a man who had just gone in and was ordering. Normal, but the strange part was that all the meat ect had been pulled from the case. It seemed to take forever since they had to run to the back, and look at in the backroom and back counter for the ingredients for his sandwich.finely got to me was much the same. I ordered the teriyaki chicken the kid had to find the chicken. Then he had the find pan to put the chicken in to heat it. The sauce was real problem to find. When found it was more or less empty. He squirted the little that was left onto the chicken. Even said you want more, huh? I paid, even left a cash tip. Now about 9:00 pm they close at 10:00 p.m. when I went to sit down I was told the lobby was closed. I work at medical facility I was dressed in white. ( I had to eat in my car got food all over myself) I have gone there for years so I can sit down and eat. I really was not happy. But I was dealing with two rude kids. One of the staff members helping was the manager's daughter, and despite the growing crowd and nonstop activity, everyone maintained such genuinely positive attitudes that the entire place felt unexpectedly uplifting. The manager himself took time to speak with us and shared how grateful he was for the kindness and generosity shown by the owners of the establishment. There was something deeply sincere and humble about the conversation that stayed with me long after we left. It reminded me that there are still genuinely good-hearted people out there quietly doing the right thing without fanfare. As for the food, we kept things simple -- burgers, fries, and onion rings. Nothing particularly fancy, but perfectly passable for a Thanksgiving travel lunch. But honestly, the food was not what made this stop memorable. It was the spirit of the place.
