This place had just reopened from scamming its clients and seems as if they are doing it again. They will not get away with it because I was lucky enough to be friends with someone who worked there. I promised not to share the info I know, but if I have to I will. Oh did I mention the bag of dope that was sitting in plain sight at the desk with no one around in the detox facility? Poor business and the treatment there was horrible. Worst of all was the food.

After my family had done some heavy research on which treatment programs had the most promising and effective success rates for coming out of Addiction and staying out of Addiction, we were able to choose The River Source. They were able to introduce me along with many others who also wanted to live a better, healthier Lifestyle. It was the most beautiful and spiritually sound experience I had ever encountered watching myself and others Soul Search for the root causes of what had made us turn to Drugs/Alcohol in the first place. It was a journey I needed to embark upon to learn about myself, my past, and the future that I truly yearned for. It was the first time I had ever been introduced to the Twelve Steps of Recovery, which I had no clue even existed beforehand. Massive Shoutout to Sam Sotoodeth who had first met with me during my onboarding process. He listened to me and truly understood the struggle of what I was experiencing through his own firsthand struggles. I felt accepted. Once I had gone through the initial healing process for my damaged Body, Mind, and Spirit by diligently going through each of the Twelve Steps one by one; I had decided to spend a year in Sober Living in Chandler to further my Journey of Recovery and help take another step towards reintegrating myself back into everyday society, except this time, though clearer eyes and a clearer mind. I was able to find work relatively quick and was completely honest with my employer about being in a program of Self-Recovery. My employer, to my surprise, was actually quite pleased to hear that and they highly respected my level of rigorous honesty. It took bravery to be upfront and honest, and others were actually rooting for me to succeed! To my amazement, I had learned that different programs of Recovery were quite common in Chandler, and very widely accepted. After about a year, I had returned to Tucson and was slowly able to make amends with my Family and continued working day by day while keeping my recovery experiences in mind. As they say, "A mind full of recovery and a belly full of Beer, tend to not mix very well." Now I have met the Love of my Life and am working very hard each day to Hopefully be Married! I hope this message makes it out to whomever it may concern, also looking for a solution to their struggle. THERE IS A SOLUTION!

Through weekly sessions and homework practice, I've gained the vocabulary to identify the state of my nervous system, the insight to do so in the moment, specific activities to use to regulate and improve my mood and mental state, the knowledge of when to use which activities, and a daily preventative routine specifically designed for me. Using these skills regularly, I've noticed an improvement in my ability to filter stress, to respond rather than react, and to stay engaged, being more mindful and present in my daily life.
