You can already see many new upgrades and it looks like many things are currently in the works (like the second shower room). Nick greeted us upon arrival, super friendly and helpful. Checkin and check out is easy. We had good email and text instructions before arrival. The grounds were well maintained. Seems like there is a lot to do right at the campground with the recreation equipment already on sight, also fishing or kayaking in the river. I'd stay here again without doubt, and honestly I'm on the picker side!

No skimping on this tour, they took care of all of us from start to finish. I am the proud owner of my Segway license! If you're in Duluth this is the thing to do. You can bet every person we passed along the way was a little envious.

Says it can fit 7 (depending on size and weight), but I'd rather not share with more than one other couple. Neither of us had ever been in a sea plane before...pretty cool how easy it took off and how smooth the landing was despite a little chop on the bay. Next time I think we would bring a picnic and games for the park, maybe a suit for the beach. Seemed like the best beach in the area with respect to the sand, view and secluded nature.

The take-off and landing was super smooth and the plane was comfortable for me, my wife, 9 yr old and 3 yr old. The trip lasted for almost 45 mins and John took us through many area of Duluth and Superior. He shared details about every area, rich history and how it is today. The best part we liked about him is his liver to serve the customer. He was always looking to find an opportunity that will make the tour more memorable. He saw that a ship was going to the bridge and he timed it properly to ensure we can see and take as many pictures of the ship crossing the bridge from true 360.

Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We had fruit and quiche both days, but the first day we had a green salad and mouse for dessert, and the second day we had cheesy potatoes and crème brûlée. (We had the gluten free vegetarian breakfasts). We both appreciate how Beth was able to accommodate our dietary restrictions and how well everything tasted. Yum! We booked the optional "Guided Wood-fired Sauna Experience" and REALLY enjoyed that, too. The Sauna was located at The Well in Hermantown, and we very much appreciated everything we learned from our tour guy (Adam?). We didn't realize there were so many benefits to the sauna. We will be taking a lot of knowledge from that experience and hopefully will get our own sauna someday. All in all, a wonderful date weekend for hubby and I!

There were stacks of clutter and junk all over/. When you pay more than you pay for a hotel you expect better than being greeted by a woman with her belly button showing and no professionalism. the sideways were covered with weeds and junk was all around the house. Way too much to spend for a bad DIY project. We were so embarrassed - took our son and daughter in law for their first ever B & B and a bust.

The resort is across the street from a safe harbor on Lake Superior. It was exactly what my family needed- away from the twin cities and in the company of each other. We plan to return there this summer. And you can bring your dog!
