We are getting tax money back that we didn't plan on and the stars all aligned for hubby and I to finally get to Italy ( this was prior to the Coronavirus hitting Italy) I got on the phone with Lori (or maybe is was Lisa) I told her my husband had 1 week vacation time so we wanted to leave on a Friday and come home 10 days later on a Sunday so we utilized 2 full weekends. I told her places I really wanted to see and said I was flexible on dates as well as itinerary. She asked my name, address, phone number, email, budget etc. and spend about 15 minutes on the phone with me. The. She tells me - get this - "In order for me to put something together for you we charge $150 per person ($300 for myself and husband) I was upset over this for several reasons. 1st: this should have been told up front, not after getting all of my personal information. 2nd : I know my friends did not pay any fees. Then to top it off I have inboxed several of the other Yelpers who left 5 star reviews and guess what? Not a single person had to pay any fees upfront. I asked to speak with manager and she said they do Charge a fee to plan a trip! My friends who suggested this place was appalled when I told them what happened! They did go about 5 years ago and their agent they dealt with was no longer there but what a way to turn off clients.

I have never "won" anything before, but as I was a participant in a community fund-raiser walk, I purchased a raffle ticket and won the first prize of an 8 day, 7 night vacation. The travel agent who donated the prize certificate did so in good faith because she believed in the cause she was donating to. Unfortunately, the company from whom she purchased the certificate has not fulfilled their obligation of providing the trip. After one year of trying to facilitate a trip with this company, and sending them over $500.00 before they would even speak with me about making reservations, I have lost all hope of ever realizing the joy of enjoying my well-earned vacation. The representatives have been unprofessional, unaccommodating, and on many, many occasions (too many to count), been extremely rude. They have had my money for ONE YEAR and will not return any of my telephone calls or return my money. The monies I sent to them would have accrued over $400.00 in interest, had I not withdrawn the money out of my bank account. Three months ago the travel agent who purchased the trip certificate was able to arrange a three-way teleconference with one of the company's supervisors from the Refunds Dept. We were told "that due to the circumstances the refund would be mailed immediately." We waited for more than two weeks with no results. Since then I have made dozens of phone calls to which none have been returned. So much for the "24 to 48 hour" return call policy, as per their phone message states. Obviously my telephone number has been blocked from reaching any of the "Special Programs" or "Refunds" departments since I can never speak to a real person and my calls are never returned. I am placing this review to hopefully save someone else from the horrible, stressful ordeal I have had to endure. The company is not only dishonest, but unreliable, uncooperative, rude and in short A SCAM to obtain monies from hard-working individuals as myself. I can only hope that others do not have to experience the stress and frustration I have had to endure.

Their "Join the Waitlist" program is brilliant. At 10am sharp you can click through a few simple steps and it lets you know you've been added and an approximate appointment time, including wait time. I joined promptly at 10am and was "scheduled" for 10:05. That did change to 10:23. I received my text that I was up and which window to go to. They also can take your passport photo there for a small fee, $15, and I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Great appreciation to Debra who helped me on the phone the day before I visited. She answered all my questions and made sure I brought everything needed including old passport and photo id. The passport fee must be paid by check or money order while photo and processing fees can be paid with VISA or Master Card. Many thanks to the wonderful people who work here. Highly recommend this location.
