Their contacts and knowledge are fantastic, Denise just rocks! But where they have really shined is when things don't work out as expected. A trip to Spain was interrupted by COVID, they handled everything: cancellations, travel insurance and ensured that we were completely refunded. But the best was just last week, when a Caribbean cruise was interrupted by injury. They dealt with the cruise line and, most importantly, found us a place to spend the night as we were sitting in the hospital lobby. Saved the Day is an understatement!!!

Maitel organized several tickets for me for a wedding in Beunos Aries, she followed thru on every detail! On the day of departure, Chaim immediately responded to my message as soon as I heard that our connecting flight was not leaving for at least 10 hours later. We quickly changed terminals and he got us new tickets by the time we got to the other terminal, except once we boarded we realized due to more delays we would miss our next connection. Chaim suggested to leave the plane which the attendants were offering and he booked us a whole other ticket. Knowing Travel CBS was there every step of the way made us turn crazy traveling just into an adventure. And I was definitely told that they will never expire. When I answered, this time no one hung up and I spoke to someone named Pam. She told me to update my package, pay $298 and it will never expire. It told her I think this is a scam and I'm going to look for the package I received. I put her on hold, found the email, but by then, she had hung up. Now I'm reading these reviews (which confirms my suspicions). Don't listen to these sales reps unless you feel like getting cheated.

Poor response times and during rebooking process, he caused us to lose our previously paid trip insurance as well as excursion money paid due to his failure to notify us and delays in rebooking. We had to pay these fees a second time! After 2 years of poking and pleading, we contacted Cruise Planners corporate headquarters and requested a new agent. Unfortunately, we always had to keep reaching out over and over for answers and results were very slow in coming. Even after our cruise is over, we still have issues getting money back from a hotel overpayment that they were a party to. I would NEVER recommend or use this company again. The effort we had to put into communication with them really ruined our trip.

Finally when she called back she said "I'm not the only one trying to contact her and needed to wait my turn." Now onto another issue, I checked in online and was unable to find where I can pre pay for gratuities. I look at the cruise liners FAQ's and they said to contact them or our travel agent. Well not wanting to deal with Cynthia again I called the cruise company. Sadly, they said they are unable to help with my request since I went through a travel agent. So I contacted Cynthia who said we are suppose to be able to pay for tips online when we check in. So this is where I"m at right now. Stuck and waiting for her to do her job. Do yourself a favor and just book directly with the cruise line, sure you may not get an extra $50 room credit but it will save you a headache in the end.
