I've have Jim of "Step Back In Time Tours" for all but one of my tours trying to save a little bit of money. That was the biggest mistake I ever made! My people were not at all happy and neither was I. It was a BIG mistake that I'll never make again. Jim is so knowledgeable of the Old Order Amish that his 2 1/2 hour tour just flies by before I know it. Every time I go he gives some additional information that wasn't on the tour before so he keeps his tour fresh and very entertaining. It's so easy to tell that Mr. loves his job and loves living among the Amish people. Jim is a great speaker with a great voice for his job and is very professional at it. Whatever you do don't make the same mistake that I did one time and book your Jamesport Amish Colony Tour with someone else. It's just NOT worth it!

The diner was not able to handle the group of 50 people that Moostash Joe's brought. The director was not able to work out an acceptable resolution. A top notch tour company needs to have the capability to find a resolution and make the tour a positive experience for all people who pay top money for the tour. We left the diner with a very negative experience and that is totally unaceptable. I would suggest that Diner 66 should never be used again my Moostash Joe's.

They have a waiting list for these tours, why do they stick it to their customers, family emergencies arise, funeral, illnesses. They are unforgiving. I knew some people were being overcharged, beyond the penalty. These companies have long established relationships with these attractions, they just want to overcharge customers just because. Our driver went over all the rules once everybody was seated and explained where we would be heading to as well as the stop they do at a gas station in the middle of the tour which was nice because we had a lot of children on the bus. They also let you bring drinks and snacks on the bus. The bus itself was clean and spacious. We went a few days after Christmas and the only down side is that some of the displays were already down so it felt like we didn't get to see a lot. Another thing was the windows kept getting foggy but thankfully they had squeegees available which we had to use every few minutes so that was annoying but also we know it wasn't their fault. I would definitely use this company again, but will opt to choose the date before the holidays are over for better festive experience.

We are in Nebraska you don't know the proper diesel to buy and the additives needed to keep the bus from gelling up. After the missed pick up we were provided with an email 3 days later stating they tried finding another company to take us out however, every bus in Omaha was broken down. This is false because I was able to hire premier party bus of omaha. Not only was his bus running the owner personally drove us around until he was able to find another driver.
