They took us through all the ins and outs of the van, providing us with all we needed. These vans are at the most 2 years old, the bedding and towels and cooking equipment were top quality. The staff were really friendly and helpful, one time we had a problem we had a number to phone and they sorted the problem! We drove all around the South island crossing the ferry up as far as Auckland before coming back! This is the best way to see New Zealand

The Diesel Coach had plenty of power for the hills and was well matched to a "smart" automatic transmission that performed perfectly up and down grades. The bedding and cookware provided was perfect for providing comfort, and equipped for preparing and serving delicious meals. Kay got our Contract sorted out in short order, Ritchy was great support when we had puzzling questions. We had visited the Airport Locations of Jucy and another Campervan Chain, and found the experience chaotic. This is a Owner Operated Business that has a very high quality product, and very high standards of Customer Service. I have owned and operated RV's for 25 years, I found the Iconic Vehicle to be top notch!

The vista van we initially booked was out of commission due to an unfortunate accident and the team emailed us a few days before to inform us of this news and upgraded us to another (bigger) camper. Mike picked us up from the airport and made the check in/van tour really easy. Very pleased with the campervan and all the great memories we made along the way. The check out process took no time and we were sadly on our way to the airport too quickly. We will definitely book with wilderness on our next trip to New Zealand.

We went and paid a deposit online and we were told we would get a call back. We tried to get in touch all afternoon but Minnie never called us back and left work. Some guy with the worst customer service finally picked up the phone to tell us there is no van available and he can't do anything for us. e called again and talked to another lady who was somewhat nice but said she doesn't know if we will get our deposit back. When we asked her if we could talk to a manager she replied " I can't think of any name". THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, YOU WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY

Then, because it had not been properly installed, the drivers side windshield wiper fell off and I spent 20 minute in the rain on a lonely mountain road figuring out how to reattach it--it makes you wonder about the quality of the rest of the vehicle maintenance.
