Traveling across country heading for Boulder from the Badlands and almost all the hotel's were booked. In searching,those two hotels were in the $165 range. Took a chance on this. Great option. Has great rooms with microwave, refrig, shampoo ( not the cheap plastic kind found in the cheap franchises). Good wifi... good tv. Plus a free breakfast at an actual diner next door. There are other hotels in Torrington but it so happens that we went during a military convention and all the local hotels were booked, but in all seriousness I really think this hotel is haunted. I kept waking up at 5 then 6 then 7am. I was really excited about Mount Rushmore (No joke) but around 7ish I heard a woman's voice talking right next to me about us and I wasn't able to move and I was trying all my might & will to move. My son and I each had our own room--I stayed in The Abbott, and he stayed in The Marguerite. The newly renovated interiors exceeded all expectations. Each suite had its own distinct style and charm, with luxurious, high-end finishes that made them feel truly special. I was so impressed that I immediately filmed both rooms and sent the videos to my husband--I just couldn't wait to share the experience with him. The last trip we stayed in Cheyenne and had a nice visit; this time, we wanted to get a bit further north before stopping for the night, and Torrington is a good location; our flight was late, so we arrived just before midnight, quite tired, and the staff had us in our room within 2-3 minutes of walking in the front door - appreciated as we were asleep within minutes. The room was nice, the night and morning staff friendly, and the breakfast a good way to start the day. While we didn't get a change to use them, they have a pool and exercise room. The views from the parking lot are expansive in this beautiful, open country. The Holiday Inn is located around 20-30 minute from Scotts Bluff National Monument - we recommend a visit and recommend staying at the Holiday Inn when you visit Scotts Bluff. I am writing to formally report a concerning incident involving discrimination against my service…read moreanimal that occurred during my stay at the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Scottsbluff, located at 902 Winter Creek Drive, Scottsbluff, NE 69361. On 05/05/25, while I was seated in the dining area where I had been for several hours, a staff member approached me during breakfast service and asked me to leave the area with my task-trained service dog. When I inquired about where I should eat instead, I was directed to either sit in the lobby seating area or at the business center. This occurred despite my having previously explained--both at check-in and again during this incident--that my animal is a service dog, not a pet. The staff member claimed that my removal from the dining area was "for the other guests" and referenced a document I had signed at check-in. However, the document in question pertains to pets, not service animals, which are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Throughout my time in the dining area, my service dog was properly positioned under the table and out of the way, as required by proper service animal handling protocols. This incident was not only extremely embarrassing, as I was forced to gather my belongings and relocate in front of other guests, but it also represents a violation of my rights under the ADA. According to the ADA, businesses that serve the public generally must allow service animals to accompany people with disabilities in all areas of the facility where the public is normally allowed to go. I filed a complaint with corporate. When corporate called the hotel, the staff reported that I carried my dog through the food line. My dog is a 50-pound Staffordshire mix. Sincerely,

I tried the banana chocolate bread and it was pretty good. They offer juice and coffee as well as yogurts and fruits. One night, I went to grab a quick bite from their "pantry", which would have cost me $8. An employee pointed out that dinner was also available for free. The hotel had a nice spread of sloppy joes, various chips and desserts, soda, beer and wine. My room was clean. The staff decided not to clean the room but was running late and so they didn't even get to cleaning rooms on my floor until about 6pm. They're a bit insistent on not performing extra cleanings if they don't have to. When I checked out, I saw a mouse run into the supply closet. Considering this is an area with lots of fields of grass, I can see why this might be a thing but I did notify the front desk so they could address it promptly.
