Where to start, on arriving I noticed the shabbiness of the room and then I saw the shower rail /…read morehead removed and put on top of the toilet. I later managed to re-fit the shower head enough to have a shower. The floor carpets were very dirty, the bed sheets heavily stained & soiled, In fact I slept on a bath towel not to come in contact with the bed sheets. I went back to the hotel reception to complain about the shower and that the tv would turn on but not off from the remote. I didn't want them to think I had done anything. I was told then that they were aware about something with the shower hence the reason for me trying to put it back myself as I realised there was not going to be a quick repair offered and I was only there the one night. To say the place needs some TLC and a deep clean is an understatement. From the afternoon right through the night into the early hours was aloud banging from some kind of boiler or compressor. I notice the rooms are located very close to a lorry park and wondered if it was related to the lorries or equipment they use.

It was the best place ive been to in leicestershire since ive moved here the staff were very helpful attentive and very happy in thier work which made for a pleasant dinning experience. i would recomend this to any one the food was excelent fast and well cooked. The experience was just like sitting at home with the familey arround you enjoying the day but with out the cooking and washing up. If you are out that way and you want a good sunday lunch then you could do no wrong trying here well i live the other side of leicester and i would travel over thier again any time.
