That they would come back down into the 5% range and I would be able to refinance and that this would all save me money. It cost me thousands of extra dollars because if I had secured a 30 year 6.25% I would've been fine. I subsequently did refinance and that cost me thousands of dollars. So overall this loan that was supposed to save me a couple thousand dollars cost me probably upwards of $9000-$12,000. Buyer beware.

But after she ran a hard credit pull--which negatively impacted our score--we got no follow-up, no real plan, and no communication. We waited 13 days, only to be told she was "waiting on information" that she never asked for. I had to chase her down myself. And when we finally spoke, she sent us a generic 620 credit plan that we never discussed. That wasn't our goal, and it wasn't the agreement. To make it worse, there was no acknowledgment or apology for the lack of follow-through. So here it is, for her: "I'm sorry we wasted time, lost points on our credit, and got strung along for nearly two weeks without real answers." Don't be fooled by upfront promises. If you're serious about buying a home, find someone who's honest, consistent, and actually follows through.

    Almost everything about my experience was wrong with communicating with the lease agent. From…read morepromising to speak to the owner before we met to see if its plausible for move in date I requested ( which he never did til after we met. He had 2 days to ask him ) and I said please verify so we won't waste either of our time. He promised the latest Tuesday never happened. To the way he carried himself during the meeting. I asked him multiple times is the place cable ready. He first assured me it was then later said he didn't know. Then after that he said if it wasn't that the cable company will do it. But I asked would I be charged for it and he wouldn't give me a straight answer. Also he didn't bother repairing anything before the showing. I checked if the shower worked and when I turned the handle the shower nozzle came out, the balcony fencing is wobbly and literally if you put any pressure on it more then just a second it would break. I literally touch it for a second and it was shaking, no blinds even though the pics on the ad shows they have, and the rails are super rusty. Renter beware.

I can't speak to the move out process because I love this house and hope to keep living here for a while. It's a bit mom and pop's. The website doesn't look fancy. Very small. Application was $20. You fill out a paper app and submit it to their office. But they are efficient! They have always been incredibly quick with responding to maintenance requests. Thanks Phil! Usually same day or next day. The maintenance guy or vendor reaches out to you directly so scheduling is much easier than going through the property management as a middle man. They always reach out quickly and get the problem resolved. To me that reflects highly on Laurie that the vendors she contracts with are also very professional and efficient. She's not just going with the cheapest vendor around. They're also not stingy about maintenance. I've contacted them before about things like a very high up curtain rod falling down and they were willing to help us even though I'd understand if that wasn't on their realm of responsibility. My particular property was a six month lease and she allows two pets. No monthly pet rent and a refundable pet deposit! Now that is rare. This may depend on the homeowner and their preferences. I highly recommend Laurie Nesci! Literally no complaints about my experience. When I find myself looking to buy a house for myself in the future I will be reaching out to her to see if she'd represent me as a buyer.
