Horrible service! Apparently there was fraudulent activity on my account and there was a hold put on my card, but they forgot to inform me. I only found out when an automatic payment attached to the card was declined. I was told to go to the local branch to get another card, only to find out that card didn't work either. I was told "it was done incorrectly". Guess who is stuck with the late fee? Travis could only offer an "I'm sorry" for all my inconvenience. read more

Better late than never, but I found his business card in my wallet and wanted to say huge props to Maturo who was absolutely outstanding when I came in to see him. I live in San Diego and previously came in mid-July to discuss a Travis check I received from a new client. At first, I was convinced I was being scammed and was feeling pretty stressed about the situation. Maturo went above and beyond. He not only took the time to carefully walk me through every detail of the issue, but he also explained the process in a way that put me completely at ease. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. BE AWARE They will discriminate against you during the lending process for your race/religion and other identifying factors that violate the Equal Opportunity Credit Act. They literally had me sign a contract, open a card issued the line of credit issued and even had the card showing up in my account. Then the loan person that had an issue with me personally decided to suspend my card and funding which is now negatively affecting my credit situation because of it. They treated me like a criminal after an approval...I have a 706 score and it was an instant approval with no income docs required...Then everything changed when 1 person got involved well after I was approved...PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!! The new employees at this branch are dumb as hell. Had my mother bring in a check to deposit into my account. She gave them my social security number and my DNA number that they use since they FISERV DNA which gives a member number and a person number for their system. They rejected her. I recently became a member of Travis Credit Union which was an extreme disappointment. When you call "customer service" the average wait time is 20-28 minutes. It is impossible to contact a local branch and were it not for the exceptional service of one of their account managers, I WOULD CLOSE MY ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY. I don't have a clue how a credit union with so many members and branchces can subject their members to such horrendous service. Avoid this credit union if at all possible. read more

I'm a long time TCU member. I've been to all the other TCU branches near by. This is by far the worst branch. Lines are always long, and the wait is ridiculous. I once left the line right in front of Royal Jelly and drive to the TCU branch in Benicia off of Southampton, finish my transaction and drive back to see the person that was in front of me still waiting. I'm not even exaggerating. I've tried to give this branch the benefit of the doubt and I would give it another chance, but I'm always leaving disappointed, dissatisfied and irritated. This branch needs to move to American Canyon and have a management overhaul. I couldn't do a half a star, so don't let this 1 star fool ya. I was in Vallejo for errands when I drove past this branch. Oh, I thought, I need to pay my credit card, and as it was almost 5pm (they're open to 5:30pm), I parked and went inside. There was only a short line, and I was able to make my payment promptly. Not only that, I got a check register as I needed another one. All in all, a great experience. read more

If you have the option to go anywhere else for a bank, do that. This is the most inconvenient credit Union. I'm only with them because they're local. Other than that, I would leave. Go to Wells Fargo, PNC, B OF A sign up with Chime. Anywhere else other than here. Anyone giving them 5 stars was paid to do do so. They don't have good customer service. Their branches are always full and they are always crowded. Branch managers are RUDE to their customers. This is common practice throughout each of the different sites. I don't know what they teach at their training courses but I've seen more than a few costumers leave frustrated after leaving from talking to the manger of the bank. I don't know why that it, but it's very sad. I don't like it. For the most part the tellers never stay the same for very long. They probably can't stand the managers or have figured out this is a HORRIBLE BANK WITH HORRIBLE POLICIES! Don't go here. Put your money in a mattress. I know I told you already. Opened an account faster than anywhere else but if your into e banking and on the go, Travis blows! It's been less than a week and every phone call was a 30+ minute wait. The bank has ZERO consistency when it comes to check deposits. No matter how long you been a member or the frequency and amount of deposit. Good customer service and good management! Originally, I was going to give this place 3 stars because one of their tellers working at the moment missed up on my mailing address causing my mail to go somewhere else hoping the person working at that moment, "Katrina," would have successfully submitted my information correctly but wasn't until about a week later when I realized there was a problem/s. I spoke to one of their representatives over the phone a week before I decided to handle my business in person because they were asking for my Debit card pin over the phone while nobody is supposed to do that. I spoke to Gary, the general manager Friday about this issue and needed to be addressed immediately due to its foreshadowing consequences. He brought the attention to those representatives and also reassured my trust in this financial institution. That same day there was a nice woman who helped me open my online app so it be more convenient to access my account, unfortunately I didn't look at her name tag. She was an African American woman, possibly in her late 20's or early 30's. Of course the manager working informed me that the teller who goofed on my mailing address had only been working for 3 months. I told him he needs to talk to her because my personal information could fall in the wrong hands and said he would; it's weird because I gave her the correct information but I'm confident the general manager took care of business. Be careful who you talk over the phone, it's always better in person. Couldn't believe there was another man with my name who they thought was my account but was using a different social. Make sure you get everyone's information down correctly and be precise on who that person is. I'm thankful they have top of the line cameras and security. There has been plenty of new faces in this branch. Karina has always been very friendly and attentive to help me and my wife, but she is no longer at the desks. I live in American Canyon and work in Livermore and make stops in the new Veranda with not enough teller stations and the machine tellers, boo-hoo Benicia with terrible parking and the new rude manager (brunette not the blonde) behind the wall, and Vallejo with the friendly people and enough to accommodate staff. I just wonder where the old staff went. The Philippina and Latinas at the desk. Hopefully they are up to better things, but nonetheless I choose this branch over the others. Maybe I will make additional reviews for the other branches. Very happy with my membership here just as long as I do not need to go to Benicia, they will be arrogant and scold you if you come close to closing not classy and closes everything before closing. Travis Credit Union (particularly the Vallejo branch) is by far the worst credit union I have been a member with. They have repeatedly made errors on their end and when confronted with said mistakes they not only make them difficult to reverse but the way they treat you adds insult to injury. Their lack of customer service , predatory business practices and lack of basic respect for their customers amazes me more every time I come in. I'm an elementary teacher and stress civility and thoroughness to all my students. My 3rd graders treat me with more respect than I have witnessed them. Well, first time reviewing a bank. I came over from Wells Fargo after Wells Fargo decided they didn't have enough of my money or anyone else s after they started charging a $15 dollar a month fee to use their banking. So I joined Travis Federal Credit Union. I have never been to a bank I like as much as this one, everyone here is friendly and helpful. I don't have any complaints what so ever. Travis Federal Credit Union is a local area bank but you can still use other Federal Union banks atm's around the country and not pay a fee or wait to deposit money or checks. If anyone is coming from a big bank to here they will be so much happier. read more

Man, this place is awesome! I went today to open an account and received the BEST service from Carina. She explained everything while helping me open my account. She even went above & beyond by letting me know that even though I didn't have a super high credit score (because I've always paid for everything in cash, except my car lease) it was still high enough to qualify for a Visa classic card. She also gave me all the info I need for transferring my business accounts over from another bank. I'm so impressed with the service I got that I'm going to have my mother & sister switch over from Chase as well. Also, contrary to some of the reviews I see on here, I never saw a super long line here. And I had to come back later in the day with some docs for credit card app, and again never saw a long line, only other happy members! read more

I have been using Travis Credit Union for about five to six years now and I have always had a positive experience. Recently I just paid off my truck and tried to get my gap insurance money back but they said they don't refund the gap (must be within a 90 day period of buying the vehicle). They are stealing money from me when I did not use the product I am very disappointed with this company and I will never use them again ever. read more
