Andy's passion for golf is evident as he doesn't pay attention to the clock, only to the student's needs and endurance. He obviously studies and studies to hone his craft and contribute to his teaching. It was clear to me that getting the fundamentals was paramount to my long-term success and Andy helped me with every detail and let me practice the nuances again and again. He provided visual aids and even sent me videos after my lessons to reinforce what I'd learned. His ability to see minute body positions and movements indicated to me that he can improve any level of golfer or any specific concern. Finally, pushed me to close a sale for 12 month lessons which I'm obviously smart enough to say no to. And then used that archaic sales technique "what do you have to think about?" This lesson was a birthday gift from my wife which should've made me happy, but the experience left a sour taste. I'm the paying customer here so you better be kind, patient, and polite to me. The receipt showed the duration as 1:30-3. I arrived at 1:30 and first several minutes were registration etc. Scott took the club away from me by 2:30. I was pushed out of the door by 2:55 Anyway, I know what my recommendation will be if one of my colleagues wanted to join GolfTec. Definitely not worth $100. Find a different trainer!!

They have a putting surface that adjusts electrically and I believe I was told this is 1 of 5 in the state of Florida - impressive. The surface can create different undulations for practicing vs. your typical store putting surfaces which obviously feed to the holes. #marketing They will have their grand opening the week of October 8, 2018 with some promotions all week. Their training facilities consist of 2 areas which do 3D video recording. If you want to improve your game, this looks like a good place to accomplish that.

I have learned so much about my golf swing and how to work around everything that I have had happen to me. David stays up on the technology and how to use it to teach all of his students. If you have a younger child that is interested in Golf you will not find a better teacher then David. He has a junior team he works with on a regular basis from one of the local schools. I have met a bunch of his students and the camaraderie that he has with them is amazing.

There are fans blowing toward each bay. Each bay is for up to six players. What you pay depends on the time you go there. We went from 8 to 10 and it was beautiful playing in the sunset and then lights were turned on! The food and drinks are very good. The place is in a good condition with plenty of workers to take care of everything. Plenty of parking and there is a security at the entrance. There is a summer pass that is a good deal. We absolutely loved the two hours that went by super quick! Definitely recommend!

It was nice that they were side by side, but we were surprised to be charged an additional $40 just for that. On top of that, there was a $6 registration fee per person, which caught us off guard. Maybe that's standard at Topgolf, but it wasn't something we expected, so it felt like an extra $82 without much added value. The food was decent for a venue like this, I'd compare it to Applebee's. Nothing exceptional, but perfectly fine if that's the type of food you're looking for. Overall, I did think it was a bit expensive. Our total bill came to around $350 for two hours of play, four shared appetizers, and no alcoholic drinks. That said, they made my son's 17th birthday a little more special by bringing out complimentary donuts, which was a thoughtful touch. Our server was also fantastic, friendly, attentive, and stayed on top of everything throughout the evening. Those little things definitely helped make the experience enjoyable despite the higher price. 3.5 Stars

Four sets of tees for men allow it to be a fair course regardless of how far you are off the tee. Conditions - The course is about to close and go through a major renovation. Very excited to see the end result in the fall of 2026. Note that the owners didn't let the course go at any point...just had greens that are at the age that they become hard to maintain and need to be replaced, which also gives them a chance to change contours and extend some of them. Range - The members back range is always in great shape and there's a big practice area for chipping. Definitely a great perk for members. Membership - The members are a great group, very accepting of new people. There are regular games on Saturday and Sunday for all levels of players. The owners do a nice job of making sure their members have priority on times on the weekends. The management and employees overall really do a great job of taking care of their members. It's the type of environment where everyone remembers your name, what you like to drink, whether you like to walk or take a cart, etc. They are very accommodating and have created a great culture. Pace of Play - I've read some reviews saying pace of play is horrible. I have not experienced that. On weekend mornings (before Noon), it's mostly members and pretty much plays at a 4 hour pace. I play 9 holes late once or twice a week (around 5PM) and also never had any bad experience. In general, I think most area courses on a weekend afternoon probably will be a bit slower. I've been a member at a few courses in the area and highly recommend South Hampton.
