Such a fun and unique experience! I made an appointment online ahead of time. I showed up and…read moresigned a quick form. I was then able to customize a blank white plate with colored sharpies. You can write things you are angry about and want to smash. I put my belongings in a locker and got a key. Then I selected my size coveralls, eye protection, helmet, gloves, and my weapon of choice, a baseball bat. Once in my room there was a timer on the wall for 20 mins for the solo session. I connected my phone easily to a Bluetooth speaker to play my music. There was a crate of items to break and a stand to set them on. The items were mostly glass bottles and ceramic jars/plates. I got to smashing and found I went through the items pretty quickly. I wish there had been more items. I ended up picking up some of the larger pieces to smash again. You definitely can work up a sweat. I recommend good covered shoes as I did get a few shards of glass on the soles. They had some pliers to get them out though no problem.

Particularly since I don't particularly like having my photograph taken. I know Megan from six months or so ago when my firm got the bright idea of redoing all our professional photography. "Candid photos", as if a photographer stalking you from six feet away with a huge telephoto lens while you attempt to get work done results in a more "natural" photograph of you. That being said, Megan is the kind of photographer you want if you have to put up with that sort of thing. She's friendly, down-to-earth, cheery and affable, and has a way of putting you at ease and getting you to relax. I'm sure she would be great with those of you who actually want your photograph taken, as well. Oh yeah, she was also the lead photographer for the recent bicentennial book on Columbus, "Revealed: Columbus". Rose is the best photographer in Columbus!…read more I think every photographer has their own specialty, and Rose's gift is capturing magical moments. I don't know how she does it, but she manages to get these unposed, couldn't-have-planned-them-better moments. I first met Rose a couple of years ago at the Jeni's Yelp event, and she took my favorite photo ever. She captured the exact moment when I met Jeni -- and you can see every bit of excitement and nervousness as this fanboy met his crush. Since then, I've hired Rose several times for work and personal, and everyone is completely thrilled with the results. She also donates her precious time once a quarter to help photograph our Columbus SOUP events -- where she truly captures the joy and the spirit of the events. One-Star Review: Extremely Dissatisfied with Service…read more I am beyond disappointed with my experience with this photographer. After completing a photo shoot, I had to repeatedly reach out just to receive what was promised.--no deadlines were met, and communication was almost nonexistent. Even after finally getting some of the photos, I'm still waiting, two weeks later, for any updates on the second set. Every time I've reached out, it's been one excuse after another--family emergencies, life issues, etc. I understand life happens, but the lack of professionalism and respect for my time is unacceptable. I will not be using this photographer again, and I do not recommend their services to anyone looking for reliability and quality.
