I paid for a package called "The Works" and didn't receive a receipt or any explanation of what that actually included. I was immediately confused about how they were even tracking what I paid for versus what everyone else was getting. Turns out, it didn't matter. I got nothing extra. The car went through a basic wash, the job was sloppy, and the car was still visibly dirty when it was "done." The staff seemed disengaged and uninterested, like they didn't want to be there. When I asked about the interior (which is supposed to be included), I was told the wash was finished and handed four quarters to vacuum the car myself. That's not "The Works." That's barely the basics. This was easily the worst car wash experience I've had. I genuinely don't understand what I paid for, and I regret spending the money. The whole operation feels disorganized and misleading. I'd strongly warn others to skip this place and take their business elsewhere. A little high at $39 per month but if you go weekly it might be worth it. The crew is diligent and hard working and the results are decent. Cheaper per month than the other places that are part of the chain like the one on Oak Tree Road. read more

I went to Trax car wash with the main objective of rinsing salt from the undercarriage of my car. I found their pricing through their own website. However, the prices when you actually get there is much higher vs. their website. I felt like this is a bait and switch. The car wash itself was not fantastic, there were some bird droppings on my car that the car wash failed to clear out. I don't think I will come here again and certainly will not subscribe to their monthly wash plans. read more

The basic car wash does what you would expect for an exterior wash. The extreme car wash adds a completely new level of service. The staff are friendly and spend about 30 minutes completely cleaning the inside of my truck from top to bottom. The extreme add on is worth every penny. Good morning, I haven't been there to Trax in quite some time so my car was covered in pollen and dirt so I figured I would go to Trax car wash in Metuchen on Friday 4/21. First, I didn't get a printed receipt and come to find out the price was $40.00 I was in shock. I tried to explain it the person working the beginning of the car wash he didn't want to hear me; he had just said OK and had me proceed. so I pulled to the left they proceeded to vacuum my car and when they were done, I told the same person, and he said this is what you got and I told him this is too expensive for what I got. since I didn't receive a receipt I couldn't go back to the owner, I understand they can't control the weather, but it rained the next day usually car washes offer free wash if it rains within 24hrs, I'm very unhappy that I paid $40.00. My car left here with more streaks and dirt than it came in with. And their vacuums ate all of my change but never turned on. Total waste of money. I wish i read the reviews here first before going there today. I went in and came out with a large chunk of paint missing from my front bumper. The guy who used the power washer sprayed onto my bumper and somehow shredded some of my paint. I didn't realize it until i got home. (See picture) read more

My car was a total mess with teenagers driving and my dog shedding. I have the monthly wash service and was SO glad they now added the full service with vacuuming! I took my car in and within 25 minutes it looked like new and smelled so good. The guys were so thorough and detailed, I could not be happier. Very nice guys too - I highly recommend! read more

Since this place underwent a huge makeover, this place looks really nice now. The car wash service options are vast. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only gripe I have about this spot is that the price is a little expensive comparatively to other car washes in the area. I went there to get a quick car wash. One of the good things is that when you put the service on your card, through a tablet, you put your phone number in and they text you your receipt. What was not so great was while they were trying to service as many folks as possible, they were not friendly and were in a complete rush. I added the extreme clean for interior in addition to the works...A lot of other places include mat cleaning and vacuum in the works but this place doesn't and the interior clean, they did only a soft wipe. I've had the monthly package for my sons truck and mine for quite a few years and we have always been extremely pleased with the wash and service. The manager and crew are kind and friendly. I am always greeted with a smile and welcome hello. And importantly my truck comes out clean and hand dried and spot free. The monthly package is reasonably priced especially if you wash your vehicle more than once a week. I definitely recommend this car wash. read more

I paid $10 to learn a good lesson: DON'T EVER BRING MY CAR BACK HERE! Figure I would give this car wash a try. Went in looking to wash the salt and dirt from the undercarriage after this brutal winter. Specifically asked that they did this. Of course they said yes and gave me the "manager special" for $10. Sat in the car through the entire wash. The curtains and brushes they use in there were strong and rough. I felt like my windows were going to explode. My car made it out, but after doing a walkthrough, sadly my car emblem did not. Apparently whatever they have in there was so strong it detached my car emblem. I've been to many car washes and this has never happened before. When I mention it to the staff drying my car (a teenage kid and an old guy), they could care less. In fact they walk away and just ignored my complaints. They barely wiped the car down, it still had water and soap everywhere. And that undercarriage I went there to wash? Dry to the bone! All the salt and dirt was clearly still there. So that "undercarriage" wash they sold me on was clearly a lie. I had to drive back to ask for the manager, and so he put my car through again. So I needed to come back and complain to get the bottom of the car washed like I first asked? Seriously? And that emblem. He said I could come back to get it glued back on, but not right now. No thanks, I won't be back, I'll never come back. So if you have a new shiny car you care about, you probably won't want to bring it here. I've been to many other car washes. Whatever brushes and equipment they use in there is rough stuff. And they don't wash the bottom of your car. Unless you go back and complain. read more

The guys that run this place are pretty friendly and I stop by when I need a quick exterior wash. Don't expect to come here and leave with your car completely clean and dry otherwise you'll be disappointed. I just stick to the basic "wash and dry" for $6 bucks because I don't think it's really worth paying more than that for this place. I must say I always give a business a try. But when it comes to my car my mothers says Im like a boy. I just purchased a new car and I decided to go to this car was on yesterday. The guys in the entrance were perfect. I watched my car go through. I went out side when my car was done and I trusted that the guys did there job. I was working . But little did I know the passenger side of my car has soap stains. Come on now its a black car. So here we are I will never return. Just wanted quality service. Beware !!! I took my car to this place for a car wash and left with two of my few hour old rims completely scratched up. Worst part of it was this car wash was my first stop after getting the rims put on the car a mile or two down the road. This is an old and very outdated car wash. Owner claimed he'd "take care of it" . The following day I was given 6 free car washes which hold no value to me because you couldn't pay me to go back there ever again. I even showed the receipt from the brand new rims and mounting from just minutes before. He claimed there was no way it could have happened at the car wash. Clearly just an ignorant ploy to not take care of his responsibility to a customer. Bad idea treating a neighbor business owner with such neglect. read more

I have been to this car wash quite a few times and never had any issues until now. After bringing my car there yesterday, I got home only to notice that a large chunk of paint was missing from the hood of my car. I went back to the car wash to show them the damage and ask why no one mentioned anything after drying my car. The man I spoke to said, "I noticed your paint was bubbling in that spot, but it's not our fault it came off. If you don't want something like that to happen, you shouldn't be getting your car washed. You shouldn't even be driving it. You should just keep it in a garage." read more
