The questions are: do you take responsibility for your health? Are you good at doing your own research and also very good at communicating? If it's a yes then congratulation! you are a fully responsible adult that is in charge of your own health and... this place is for you and can help and give you some answers. However, If you expect to be handed down all the info, not be bothered to write anything down as you discuss it nor follow through or ask for clarifications when you don't understand, then. This place is not for you. Unless you are ok doing things ordered without lots of explanation about the plan. Lots of mixed feelings about this place but let's start with all the good. And there is endless good in here. I saw in my 45 years many many many practitioners. None had a clue about all my odd symptoms, my ills, pains and being tired all the time after having kids and other symptoms before at my 20's. I was given endless prescriptions for different pains and ails that troubled me at the time. No practitioner EVER addressed all of the issues as a one body just treated the symptom. Dr. Dandy doesnt treat symptoms. She treats the body. She looks at the big picture and literally helps you put back all the puzzle pieces and help make sense of what's going on. She has a very holistic and whole food approach. Taking out gluten, sugar, dairy and all inflammatory foods was one of the first biggest steps to heal the gut. It's a lot. Again, if you can't or won't do the extreme steps, you shouldn't go. Or go and waste your money cause it's a long run plan here. To heal and stay healthy. If you want a quick pill and a prescription without thinking what you put in your body. This is again, not the place for you. If you are open and willing to do whatever it takes to feel better and heal, they will guide you though it. Dr. Dandy prescribes a LOT of supplements for certain amount of time. Those supplements add up and it is all very expensive. Again, I personally think there is nothing better to spend your money on than health and health for the long run. But that's just me. I took all my family in and we had a lot going on. Been on this road for 6 months and all of us are improving immensely. We always ate a very healthy, organic diet. Kept active and still, felt pretty bad. Dr. Dandy found many triggers and I personally been feeling so much better than I felt in 4 years. Adrienne at the front desk is super helpful, friendly and a personal ray of sunshine. She is your woman to get things done and follow through. Dr. Kimberly Rainey does the nutritional follow up part is very knowledgeable and helpful. Also one of my favorites here. Bring notes and lots of questions to ask her when you follow up with her. They don't accept insurance but give you printouts and receipts for all the services so you can go ahead and submit a claim with your own insurance. I make sure to get a blank date super bill from them with all the codes and submit it to my insurance with the receipt of the service. it works well. Now for the parts that can be improved. Appointments are very rushed and sometimes you are not sure what is happening. Transitioning between providers is not communicated well. Example finishing up with the Dr and transitioning to a test and then a plan and scheduling future appointments. Ask for it to slow down so you get the chance to write everything down and ask questions. Better in location than trying to get someone back later. They are busy! But if you communicate it, they accommodate. Make your own xls sheet with all requirements, notes, how long to take a supplement and such. Sometimes it's very very hard to reach them over the phone. They are better with email but again, it'll take them a few days to get back to you. It's very expensive. Nose swab goes for $185. My insurance pays me back $65. So it's several swabs for $120 a piece. And you will need 2 at least. One to know and one to retest. They don't have a lot of staff and have a lot of patients. Not always available over the phone. Follow up is needed a lot and this part is still under construction. All in all, if you can't find what's wrong with you and you rather throw money at it to find the cause and fix it. THIS is the place for you! Doesn't expect it to be like traditional western medicine. They still have some kinks to fix but hopefully down the road be a well oiled machine.

Started out well but quickly realized the continuity of care was lacking…read more I benefitted from Dr. Dandy's care and even rode through the wave of her nearly starting over with a new staff...and for a brief time, things improved. Prior to this I was told Dr. Dandy could indeed be my GP/PCP. Yet, when I became ill, I was told to go to urgent care. An ER visit with severe gall bladder issue. Dr. Dandy said I had salmonella poisoning yet there is no record in my files and I wasn't treated for this diagnosis. Had hand x-rays done via Dr. Dandy. Severe arthritis in both thumbs. No follow through. When I inquired I was told I could go to hand doc. I question the use of a new diet aide (one that European countries have banned!) that I tried briefly under Dr. Dandy's nutritionist. I gained the weight back and more after stopping! Learned that this drug is having many issues! A digestive issue arose that presented as cardiac, Dr. Dandy's NP met with me, via 30 minute telehealth appt. The NP was 20 minutes late! Then after 10 minutes said Dr. Dandy ordered two cardiac tests. After waiting 2 weeks for a call to schedule an appt for tests, called doc office only to be told that NP recorded that I was to go to my GP to get these tests. (Remember, I was told she could be my GP). Next day, had a call from hospital to schedule these tests. The NP ordered it! Naturopathic doctors (different from functional medicine-which is just adding supplement recommendations to regular allopathic medicine) are ones who typically look at the whole body/not just the symptoms it presents...but you must find one that is consistently 'good' at practicing medicine. I initially gave a glowing review, but after 3 years under Healing Hut care, I'm done for the reasons stated above.

I love my doctor and I get polite lip service from the staff but I've been coming here for three years and every time I get prescription refills I have to call them at least twice this time it's going to be three times to get a the refills to actually go to the pharmacy. That's fundamentally unacceptable. It's such a small item to require and I'm not one to leave angry reviews but how else am I going to get service? I don't know what to do here here. It's ridiculous.

The care quality was fine, the care provider didn't do anything other than recommend drops to buy for the issue. Nothing else. No concerns there or remarks on care quality. My gripe is with billing. We phoned this location a few months later to understand if we should expect additional charges since we had not received anything yet and were told not to worry and that something would be sent out via mail. Got nothing from the billing department via mail. We finally received a bill in 2025 (over a year later since date of the service) which states "expenses were incurred after coverage was terminated". Note that we are on different health insurance now, however I called our previous provider today (Sept. 2025) and they informed they were never billed by Primary Health Group for this visit. Billing statement also includes all our valid health insurance info that we provided at the time of the visit so they do have it and simply didn't bill our insurance provider. Very frustrating that even when (1) we provide all our info up front at time of the visit, (2) phone them months later to follow up about billing, and (3) all our insurance information is listed on the billing statement that Primary Health still can't get it together and bill our insurance. So, it was nice to have a 5 minute drive to my appointment since this office is down the road from me. The receptionist here is so nice! The downtown location should take a couple lessons from the Eagle location. The receptionist smiled at me. She was kind asking me my general check in questions. She had personality. These basic skills are lacked in 90% of the people who work in registration downtown. If I can have all my appointments here, I would. I hung out in the waiting area till it was my turn. Zach, the imaging tech called me back to the scanning room. He went through the process of the scan with me and guided on how my properly lay on the scan machine. He had me position my legs differently for a couple scans. And before I knew it, I was done. It was quite an easy process which was nice. My other appointments require getting poked at. The Eagle office is night and day compared to Downtown. They are so nice here. It's a smaller facility with an Urgent Care unit which is nice for non emergency visits. It bums me out that I have to deal with the rude receptionists and security check in staff when I'm Downtown. But it was nice to see how the other half are treated at this location. I will have to get more appointments fulfilled here. I leave happy which is nice.

We walked in and we were instantly greeted by the nice receptionist. She got us all checked in, updated my husband's insurance information and billing. And then we chilled in the waiting area. We were called back by the nurse. She took my husband's vitals and asked us if we had any medical concerns. She was really kind! Nurse Niki did a great job getting my husband's appointment started. Today was our first initial visit with Dr. Mohamed. He was fantastic! Dr. Mohamed was very thorough. He was very attentive and was very engaged. I appreciate that he took his time with the appointment. He didn't rush us, made sure he covered all of our questions and concerns. It was a breathe of fresh air to have a dr taking his time for his patient. If you're looking for a new primary dr, I would recommend Dr. Mohamed.

An insurance rep even called to inform them of the delay so they wouldn't give me any problems. Unfortunately the fun was only beginning. Billing has a policy of only including specific dates of service and a list of services with the first bill. Even cross-referencing the first bill, subsequent bills were impossible to make sense of because the amounts and dates kept changing. Even after the insurance issue was resolved, one twin's wellness visit was still getting denied. Insurance reps said they were billing incorrectly. The first billing rep I spoke with also noted discrepancies in how each visit was billed. I used to review claims for a health insurance company, too, and knew they were billing with the wrong codes. Sometimes mistakes are made on the insurance side, but this was not one of those times. The last time I spoke with a billing rep, they were very uppity and denied making any mistakes. Once again, a rep from my insurance company called them directly. The bill was resubmitted and paid, with the exception of hospital services for what I thought was a routine blood test for the younger twin. Whatever. I was tired of arguing at that point. One other thing: visits would last forever, about an hour per child, and most of that time was spent sitting and waiting in the exam room. Imagine how fun that was with both children in their terrible twos and threes. There's a lot of things I'll miss about Boise; this place is not one of them. They can't be faulted for the initial delay, but billing policies and poor customer service are on them.
