My partner and I are new patients at Chiro Idaho. We each needed different payment options and plans , and we were pleased with the choices Chiro Idaho offered. My partner is insured and I am not. I was able to pick a package that allowed me affordable ongoing care, that decreased in visit costs as my treatments progress. ( usually on going care increases, so this was encouraging ). We were looking for an office that was not going to insist we pay for a bunch of invasive services and x-rays we may not need ( of course there is a time and place for x-rays) . I feel like a new person!!! Since 2017 - I have had chronic back pain. Every therapy has been thrown at me - and relief was not found. After just 7 sessions of laser and spinal decompression, I have no pain. My MRI shows such damage that I thought surgery might be my only option and I want to avoid that at all costs. I am very difficult to adjust because I am a large, strong man with fast reflexes. He adjusted me every single time. He has a calm demeanor which allowed me to relax on his table. For a few months after my car accident, between my son's treatment and mine I spent a few days per week receiving chiropractic treatment from Dr. Meltzer. Prior to my injury my only experience with chiropractors was when I would watch my father receive adjustments when I was a kid. The whole ordeal seemed so rough and terrifying to me as a child. Everything about my experience at Meltzer Chiropractic was completely different than I expected. The office is relaxing (Go Dave Matthews Band). Dr. Meltzer is extremely down to earth with a great sense of humor. He spent a good amount of time listening to the details of the accident. He also explained chiropractic treatment to me before and during adjustments. He did the same for my then-9yr old son. He periodically reviewed our progress and outlined the next treatment phase. I want to really thank David for getting rid of my intermittent back pain that I have had for about 15 years since an injury. A friend of mine conviced me to go to a chiropractor yet I was reluctant to go. My friend had his Chiropractor that works for the SF 49's refer me to a chiropractor in Napa. It was David Meltzer he referred me to. The pain was getting worse before I decided to visit and get some help. After the first few sessions I was feeling much better and after 2 weeks I had no more back pain. I was so excited and amazed. David's personality is wonderful and kind. I really liked his follow up phone calls to check in and see when I would be coming in next for an appointment, as we get so busy and can forget once we are feeling better. However, it's important to visit more frequently at the beginning to train the muscle memory I understand. The great price per session was not what I expected as expected it to be way more expensive.
