They sent me a check for the overage I paid for property taxes, but refuse to go back to my initial monthly mortgage payments. Now I'm charged interest on money they "think" I need to borrow for taxes every month. MY MORTGAGE IS 60% higher than before they decided I couldn't be trusted to pay my taxes. (Again, payment made a few days after deadline. One time in this property's 14 years of mortgage history.). I called several times asking to have my mortgage brought back to the agreed upon payment, and they gave me a sob story about their organization being hurt by having to pay my property tax once. After 18 months of paying my own taxes before they even got billed, I wrote a letter asking if I could have my taxes withdrawn from their loan. Again, they told me to jump in the lake! Yes this is the epitome of the abusive relationships banks have with clients that practically destroyed our country several years ago. HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN AFFORD A 60% INCREASE IN THEIR MORTGAGE????
