Their patient and loving approach to early childhood education has left me deeply impressed. My son has grown by leaps and bounds and I'm excited to see what his continued education at this unique school will do for him as he matures. The class sizes are small and the campus is amazingly situated in picturesque downtown Ft. Pierce. Tuition is affordable and they accept Step Up for Students as well. The headmistress Mandy Doss is attentive and seems to know every child by name. This is the kind of family environment you just won't get in public school or even larger private schools. It seems every other week there's a fun event, activity, or field trip that keeps the kids engaged and us parents involved and able to participate hands-on. We're over the moon with our SAEA experience and hope to keep our boy (and subsequent kids!) there all through grade 12. Thank you, SAEA, for making this an easy choice to be proud of!

Having two younger BLACK siblings who have been attending this academy for going on four years now, I am appalled by this behavior. They will not be going. I will happily make recommendations for more appropriate field trip ideas, since the school clearly has ran out of them.

Two different schools in the Palm Beach County Public School System fought with us when we wanted to leave him back and it was clear that he was seen as a lost cause that would just be passed along from grade to grade unless we changed schools. 5 years later the progress my son had made at Providence was truly remarkable. Obviously, they taught him how to read but also the skills necessary to learn, both in the class and at home. Socially, he became a gregarious confident young man who sought to help his fellow students. For him, in the middle of 7th grade, we decided it was time to try public school again because of what Providence had done for him. We could have not envisioned a better result. He has moved into advance classes in all his core subjects but for English and Math, and the only reason he has not advanced in Math is because he did not start public middle school until 7th grade. His teachers look to him to assist other students, a task he truly enjoys. Socially, he has also thrived, easily making friends and bullying no longer an issue. Thank you, Providence, for this amazing result. If you are considering Providence, do not hesitate. It is truly a remarkable place.

    1. What made you consider the Ivy League Academy Preschool originally?…read more The original 5 star reviews I saw; I had ignoring the possibility of a few disgruntled parents 2. Why did you decide not to attend? Jesenia - Her unprofessionalism and inability to take account for her wrongful actions and failures to have children properly watched, as well as false pretense of suspending my child for cursing, even though another student was directly caught doing the same thing the day before in which they never punished the other child, for which my child had learned the terrible language from. Should she have attempted to fix any issue instead of targeting my child and solely punishing her for someone else's previous behavior , I'm sure this separation would have not accrued. 3. Is there anything that we could have done to change your mind? Absolutely! If you can get rid of the problem (person in this case that has aforementioned), I'd greatly consider coming back 4. What changes or improvements would you like to see? Get rid of the Ass Director Jes, your reviews should help clarify the issues I've faced as well as multiple other parents. We (as students named parents) felt as though we were being "interrogated " by her personal and health related questions corresponding with (child's name) "reported issues". We can understand some children can be a handful but the number of complains I've read about your Ass Director Jes from numerous other parents really makes one ponder; how one could still be employed with such a terrible reputation specially cause by her own actions, rudeness to parents and inability to cope with students at this learning facility. Unfortunately based on the amount of complaints about this individual specifically, I am saddened to know that no action will be completed based on this users performance and failures in the eyes of multiple parents who have had the same reported issue about this person.

Montessori Way School is a big beautiful family. Last summer, we were in the process of moving from…read moreCalifornia to Florida and were nervously trying to choose a school - via phone (a nerve racking process to say the least) Most Montessori schools in the Orlando area were very accommodating to our pressing need. However, what was special about MWS is that their admissions office spent an hour and a half on the phone listening to us talk about our son's previous Montessori schooling experience (which was not very complete). Through that call, we heard their passion for education, their generosity and the nurturing relationship they have with the children and their families. Although we toured other schools, as MWS encouraged us to do, that initial contact with them made the difference for us. Having moved from a 'big school', the 'smallness' of the building was intimidating at first-sight; however, we discovered later on that the intimacy of the space was a big contributor in the school's success. Our son received a very individualized education, and we were all part of what felt -like an educational extended family. The impact of the Montessori Way School community in our lives has reached very deep. MWS gives 200% in everything they offer: humanitarian spirit, respect, academics, arts, very diverse enrichment programs and very moving family events, like their mother's day tea. Everything, absolutely everything they do is special, way much more than we expected it. Their integrity, commitment and love for what they do permeate everywhere, from pick up time to parent's night out ... As parents we feel appreciated and understood, and we certainly feel that our children are loved. What else could I want for my child? Their very well structured 'family' environment, translates to the children: a love for learning. Their excellence is amazing and their approach to education is stimulating, even for the parents! The teachers are warm, aware, nurturing. Their level of commitment and solidarity is sweetly inspiring.
