STAY AWAY. Treasure Coast damaged many things in my household. They said it would take 2 weeks to do the tile in my house and it took 5 months. On top of that they left the freezer open and had multiple food items melt on to the brand new tile they had placed down. They dented 2 walls, when they did the baseboard it was about 4 inches off the ground. I had to pay someone to re do my base boards because Treasure Coast messed them up so bad. Julie was so rude and owes me about $2200.000 and still hasn't paid me yet. Further more she still has my house keys and refuses to pick up my calls. This is so disappointing for thousands of dollars to be spent just for the workers to do a half job. The workers would be sitting on their phones for hours a day not doing anything. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from Treasure coast Carpet and tile. read more

The communication was awful during the scheduling process. We spent many days expecting workers and tile that never showed. The tile laying was awful and had to be redone as many as three times at which time we took it out of their hands and had someone else fix what they did. They did not mix grout properly and mixed grout with and without sand in the shower. What was scheduled for 6-8 weeks was 16 weeks. I do not recommend them for installation. Contacted Jill and visited the store, chose the materials, the measurement guy came, then no follow up, no calls, NO estimate was sent over two months even though I visited the store many times with my husband to try to talk to her. She saw me and said "If you want to meet me, you need an appointment!" How disrespectful! I just came here after two months waiting to ask her just one thing, how long I have to wait for the estimate and when the countertop measurement guy is coming. She NEVER apologized and passed the job to the other assistant without any notice. Jill said "I am the owner". I have never seen such a RUDE owner in this world. After many calls, she finally emailed me an estimate, however, I was surprised there are no details for materials and labor's cost... just total cost & materials' names on the estimate. Again, I have never seen such unclear estimate in my life. I kept emailing them but no replies. Like other customers say, they will forget you easily. I only talked to Jill and leaned she is Very RUDE and Unprofessional service. Don't waist your time. After I read all the reviews, I'm REALLY glad we didn't hire Treasure Coast Carpet & Interiors! IF THIS REVIEW DISAPPEARS, is because Julie Hirsch asked my attorney to have it removed if she decides to negotiate..- the best thing you as consumer can do if you decide to hire them, obtain a written document that details exactly how job will be installed And get a written warranty...Hire a company that knows the products, that has integrity, that has professionalism, that deals with problems in an "ethical" manner as Treasure Coast LACKS all these. "From my own experience", it has been an ordeal since March 2020 when Joy came out to see my property, suggested a tile and reiterated to me 3 times that the tile would not crack---even up until the day that the tile was to be delivered, I asked her again if this tile would crack and she said NO---2 months later, tile began to crack--up until Sept 2021, 90 % of the floor has split and cracked. a $25k job went down the tubes--- Joy has never had the integrity to come clean and admit that she misguided us--she gave this headache to her sister Julie--- 1 year and 10 months later, I am still dealing with this store -Unfortunately I had to hire ( at my own expense & who are willing to go to court) 2 structural engineers, 1 architect and 3 other store reps who came and lifted some of the tile that was installed and they ALL indicated that 1) this type of floor should have never been suggested for a home that is 95 yrs of age and has a crawl space below--- 2) even if this tile was installed, it should have been installed properly versus what the installer did.. Even their installer agreed that this floor shouldn't have ever been sold to me and as for the installation: he followed the instructions given to him even though he did not agree with them.. The store has never done the right honorable thing to do which is take responsibility for their mistakes- Instead, they have avoided us for months and what appears to be an answer , it benefits the store, not the customer - Julie never even once took initiative to have her installer come and open up part of the floor to see what he had done - she has just come up with all kinds of excuses as to not do what is right . She has come out twice and has offered to pull the tiles that are cracked and replace them with more tiles---which according to the structural engineer, It is still the wrong solution - In addition to making me responsible for paying for extra money so that she can account for the things they neglected to do- -What I have learned from her actions is that this store lacks Integrity, character, professionalism, lacks honesty, lacks morals , it lacks warranties--- what Julie Hirsch does have is a finger to point at all directions and point out who is at fault- never her of course ...... It isn't over yet! -I tried hiring 2 attorneys only to find out Treasure Coast had hired them to protect them from other lawsuits involving unhappy clients. I found a 3rd attorney who is dealing with my claim now as of Dec 6 2021. If I could give them no stars I would. The worst customer service ever. Went in person to pick out 4 tiles styles. Jill photographed them and said she would send amounts to our installer as I requested. NEVER DID. I went back 3 more times in person, met with mother Judy who took info all over again. No email to my installer. My installer kept texting me asking what is going on... Called and spoke to Judy and she said she would take care of it and I asked her to please call me and confirm it was done. 4 days later, no call from her, no email to me or my installer. So I am DONE with them. I thought the mother might be more responsible but NO she was not. I can't see how they are still in business. Totally, unreliable, terrible customer service and follow up. I was doing 4 bathrooms. They must not need the business. STAY CLEAR of this business if you are looking for customer service and professional sales persons. I will never recommend them to anyone. In the planning stages of major house renovations. Contractor recommended this company (and thankfully a few more). Called to get directions, advised I was unfamiliar with the area, and clarified where I was driving from. Confirmed their location on US 1 in Tequesta. Unfortunately, after battling rush hour traffic and heading north on US 1, only to find the bridge was closed due to repairs. Called again to give professional courtesy and advise that I couldn't be there by closing due to road block. Politely asked why they couldn't have told me about the detour? Rather than receiving an apology for their oversight, or even a professional response, the owner nastily doubled down rudely with, "Well, it's been closed since March!" When I let them know that due to their lack of customer service, I would be using another company, they slammed the phone down. Speaks volumes about how they treat customers. I used them to match tile that I had done in my kitchen by another firm that my husband chose and we were not happy with. I was thrilled with Treasure Coast! Excellent customer service. They went out of their way to get the matching tile in a hurry from the same lot as we decided to tear out the wall-to-wall carpet in the dining room and living room. No comparison to the other tile installation. Hardly any mess at all. Very professional installation and fast! If you're giving them a bad review, try another company and see what that is like. The worst company we have ever dealt with. They didn't install our baseboards flush to the wall and when I told them about it and showed them pictures, they said they would get their installer back out. 2 weeks later and still no one showed up. I had to call about 5 times before someone actually came. They didn't even fix the problem. How they are still running a business is beyond me. I wish I had read the reviews on this place prior to going there. It started out good. On a Saturday, we picked out what we needed and was told we would get a call on Monday with an estimated price. That was the end of the good story. From that point forward it just went downhill. My calls were not returned. Their customer service is terrible and the girl I dealt with who started out nice became extremely rude. The sad part is I found out in the middle of the situation that she was one of the owners. Anything I tried to say, she turned around on me to the point she even began yelling at me when I told her I didn't think it was in my best interest to use their company. Initially I thought this place was amazing. They had a huge selection of flooring, were very friendly in the store and helpful. It is a family run business which I thought would make the entire experience a good one. I picked out the flooring (vinyl plank) and made arrangements for installation. Jill, the owner's daughter, came to my home for a walk through. I had just had one of the rooms completely redone and painted. It had a new pocket door, new baseboards and new paint. She reassured me that the baseboard would not be pulled off and that her crew would be very careful in the room. The installers were professional, helpful and pleasant but they were totally unaware about what they were supposed to do in the room I discussed with her so while I was at work they stripped off my new baseboards, took my new pocket door out of it's frame, removed the molding and then installed the floor. The dinged the walls and marked them up, the baseboards and pocket door looked like they had been removed and replaced. There were nail holes in everything from them reattaching them. They took the molding and paneling off around the dishwasher and when they replaced it it was not longer flush. I called Jill to complain and she said she would send someone out to take care of it. In the meantime I wanted another room floored with the same flooring after a flood damaged the wood floor. I called her back and got an estimate and then called another flooring company for an estimate. Her estimate was $1700 more than the other flooring company so I called her to giver her a chance to reestimate. She became very petulant and told me that whoever I was using wasn't doing the right thing and that there is no way they could do it for that price. They installed it and did a beautiful job. Her techs came out to fix the baseboard mess but at the same time Jill tried to tell me that they never took the baseboards off or removed any molding and that they certainly did not remove the pocket door or it's moldings. She was not here when it occured but she insisted I was wrong. She sent a guy back and said she would hold $200 from my final bill until it was completed. A guy came and caulked it but I was so infuriated that she felt she could charge me that $200 after the fact that I never called back for the final repairs. Over a period of 5 months or so the floor became slippery (and continues to get more and more slippery as time goes by). My dogs were slipping and falling when they tried to walk across it and I had an incident where I slipped and fell on the floor walking up to my desk. At this point I called Jill to inform her of my difficulties. Her response was "I have never heard of such a thing! What are you washing your floors with? You must be doing something that is making them slippery!" She then came over here, walked through the house with sweaty feet and basically told me I was imagining things and that she could not find anywhere where the floor was slippery. She was rude and accusatory. I then contacted the manufacturer who contacted the flooring rep. He came to the house with Jill to examine the flooring. Jill was even more rude. She did not want to listen to what I had to say and anything I did say about the floor being slippery she became defensive, hostile and rude. She did not want to listen to me and refuted everything I said. She became so hostile that the flooring rep became silent and stepped away. I was about to tell her that she was never to set foot in my house again when the rep realized we were getting nowhere and suggested that there are independent investigators that look into situations like this and test the flooring. He suggested that one be called regarding this complaint. She was not amenable; however, a few weeks later I was contacted by a gentleman who did just that. He came to my home tested the flooring in various places and left. For several months I did not hear anything. In the meantime the floor has continued to become more and more slippery. My poor pets are falling over, splaying their hind legs because they can't get a grip on the flooring. I finally call the flooring rep and he said the report was sent to Jill several months ago and that he called her last week to ask her to contact me. She did not. I called him again. He told me I would have to deal with Jill. Then later sent me a text telling me he would send me a copy of the report. I would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND this company. Their attitude is horrendous or perhaps it was just Jill. I do not every want her in my home again. If you have a problem it will always be your fault. There is no customer service because she considers the customer to be wrong. Not to mention the fact that if I had been smart enough to get multiple estimates (my bad) I would have found out how overpriced they are and would have used someone else. Thought I was going to love this place when I was renovating my house. They have a big selection of quality tile & carpet. Purchased a lot of very expensive tile from them. We ended up having a problem with installation - not their fault but with a type of tile they sell. So instead of working with us they pushed us off to the manufacturer and totally blew us off. Zero standing behind there products. No follow-up. It was just like they said oh well, too bad. I would not recommend using them. If the service was better it would be worth there higher prices but it just not there. read more

It seems that these people have so much business they don't have to return phone calls. Went in to get a price on an area rug but also had questions on the type of backing that could be put on rug and the cost. They said they would have to call the company and would get back to us. After several days went by without a call, I called back and was told the salesperson was busy and would get back to me. Never heard back and so after another few days I called again and same answer that they were busy and promised a call back before the end of the day. Still haven't heard from them so I called the manufacturer direct and got my answer but will certainly not place my order with Treasure Coast Carpets! read more
