There are carts in the parking lot to help carry stuff to your slip and a member's clubhouse with a TV, internet, bathroom, and shower. If you are a fisherman, they have a cleaning area setup for customer use. Cedar Bayou also has a gas dock and supply store. The drawback to this marina is that it is West of the 377 bridge and a good 30 minute or more boat ride to The Islands, a popular party spot.

She was easy to communicate with and responded quickly via text and phone calls. The Cabin was very clean and comfy. Everything seemed to be in working order (tv, electric fireplace, appliances...) The Bear Cabin has plenty of kitchenware for eating and meal prep. Basic bathroom essentials were also available. The other two cabins-Lighthouse and Fish are right next door and a mobile home community behind the property. Noise level was low between the nearby road and the mobile home community. Mostly just heard some music from the guests in the lighthouse cabin the first night (~40 ft away) but the noise was not super loud. Overall, it really was a good stay and I wouldn't mind staying here again if hiking brings us back to this area. I have the feeling Stacy has been burned by some irresponsible guests in the past based on conversations and another review seen on Yelp. My friend and I felt as thought she was pretty reasonable with her expectations though. Don't think you'd been disappointed staying here.

The cabins are right next to the road, and there were loud pickup trucks revving their engines at all hours. Overall, it felt like we were staying in a camper. It was a good price, and I'd rather have stayed here than a hotel. However, next time we visit Lake Texoma, we'll stay someplace larger and quieter.

It was perfect for me to capture a sunset on the front deck. Everything you need is included in the bath and kitchen. We loved the jacuzzi tub. You can relax in it and see the lake through the windows. The beds were very comfortable. The tv didn't get very good reception, so we rented movies from Redbox. The internet was strong enough that the kids could play games on their laptops. We were there through the week so we were the only people there until check out time the last day and others started checking in. It was quiet and peaceful. I plan on visiting again soon.

Number 1 proximity to the park, we didn't want to be exhausted from a long day of hiking only to have to drive a long way to call it a night. But this Villa was awesome! Located right in the park there was a nice convenient place to relax at night after a long day of being outside. Number 2 was that there were so many things to do in the park we were never left wondering where we wanted to go or what we wanted to do. Ron who rented us the cabin was so helpful and pointed us in the direction of some maps, the waterfall, and even a cool abandon old Castle that was a short hike away. We are not one to hike very often, however this was a great place to getaway and unwind from the hustle of work. So if you are not planning a beach vacation and are looking to mix it up a bit maybe a cabin in the woods might be your thing this year.

We have stayed at 3 different cabins so and it has been such a great experience every time. The cabins are always clean when we get there. My kids love going to Turner Falls more than going to the beach. The river is within walking distance to the cabins and it's so convenient. I love that the park is patrolled by police, it just makes you feel extra safe especially with having your kids with you. The owner of the cabins is such a nice guy, he is always there to help make your stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.
