The onsite crew arrived as expected and checked with us when they first arrived, introduced themselves by name, and looked over the job with us before they started. We appreciated them doing this which was good for us and for them, so both could agree beforehand on the expectations for the job, so each had no surprises. While they worked on the job we had occasion to ask about certain things or request minor things, which they were very receptive to talking about and did their best to handle. Because they had given their names, it was easier to approach them when it was necessary, and they were receptive to our inquiries in a positive way. This is very important in my mind. I know there is a fine balance, but If crews react badly or are difficult to approach, this can lead to a less than desirable relationship and impact the job and customer satisfaction, But this didn't happen with Bartlett. I was quite particular about how I wanted the trees trimmed, so probably more difficult to please than most clients. We…read morehad hedge of cedars at the side and back of the house that we needed topping and a couple of the cedars had been collapsing in to a neighbours property. The crew brought in the equipment to do the job and clean it up and did so very efficiently. The 2 cedars were saved by uprighting them carefully using ropes and hooks that were out of the way and secure. Each critical step was reviewed so that there were no surprises before they started and if there were any questions during the process we were consulted before moving forward.
