Here's what really stands out...their integrity! Once in a while a contractor runs into a problem and such was the case here. The final coat had several different types of blemishes. Lance immediately did some product research and even reached out to his industry network to see how others resolved what seemed to be a unique problem. He didn't hesitate to return promptly to redo the topcoat. This resolved some of the problems but not completely. He did additional research and came back to fix it...IN A TIMELY MANNER! It required starting all over...re-sanding the floors and applying 3 new coats of finish. Lance and his crew were efficient, clean and all around enjoyable to have in my home. Not only would I want him to do my floors, but he'd also make a great neighbor!

Kristen and Paul arrived on time and gave us great ideas at a reasonable price fir their made to order cabinets. Within weeks they were ready to install. I do not recommend DeGrange for several reasons:…read more - The floor is not level, and the surface coating that was used scratches easily and is not holding up like our previous oil based product. - Knots are not filled in properly. - There are depressions where knots were filled in or drawn on, as one of your employees filled them with the wrong color of filler, and then people had to use markers to hide things. - We still have bleed back of clear coat in certain areas. - There are dimples throughout the clear coat as it was put on thick, and you can see it foamed. - Swirl marks under the clear coat where it was buffed too aggressively. - Almost all rounded edges up against the carpet are all jagged and have blue tape and carpet fibers stuck in them. Quoting Ryan here: And if there are any issues caused by us then of course we will fix them if needed. He has not stood by his work, nor his word, and took money and ran. My first engagement with Ryan was him coming by the house to quote us on refinishing our hickory hardwood floor. He told me he would have a crew of people, that it would be 95-98% dustless, that we could get the color we wanted, that things would be level everywhere, and that the top coat would be extremely hard like our original oil based coating, as it would be a hybrid oil/water based product. We were quoted one week to get things done, possibly a Saturday. It took nearly 3 weeks, lots of me asking if they can fix issues, and more. Each time I was given excuses or reasons why things were the way they were. The last time they were at my house was April 30th, 2024. Decided to give it some time and reached out on June 26th, asking for someone to come by so we could walk through the remaining issues and see what could be done. I received no response. My wife called on July 1st and left a voicemail asking for some follow up, and that has also gone unanswered.

Be extremely careful about what you are getting in quantity. I learned the hard way. My receipts…read moreshowed the supposed square footage, not the boxes. My contractor picked up 83 boxes which contained 7 tiles, equaling 14 square feet. The total pickup was 996 square feet, not the 1200 listed. This was also evidenced when I ran out of tile. This also happened on a small order where I did the math for what I needed , added 10% for waste and was still 2 boxes short. The receipt does NOT show boxes, so you do not have recourse once you leave the store. Phil is argumentative, and although Marco seems decent, this has not been resolved so this is my PSA. This has cost me over $1500 in materials and trips back to the store for more tile. It was Florida tile so part of the issue is probably with the supplier too. Count the boxes AND the tiles. Sorry guys but that is the truth. Otherwise, good selection and customer service.
