We always disliked our hardwood floors because of the reddish color but never did anything about it until a slow leak caused water damage. We almost replaced the entire main floor, but Capell Flooring educated us on the quality of our existing wood and how it could be saved. Justin spent so much time showing us how refinishing the floors with the right stain would transform them, even sampling different colors on extra pieces until it was perfect. They saved us so much money and the result is absolutely beautiful--we don't despise our floors anymore! I am so impressed with this company! They are honest, trustworthy and stand behind their work! While in the process of adding some hardwood, one of the installers they used made a mistake of cutting the existing carpet in our living room too short so it didn't meet up with the wood. We were expecting a battle, but Justin came in and took one look and without hesitation made the decision to do what was necessary to make it right, which in this situation meant replacing the entire piece of carpet in our living room. So often you find companies that try to shift the blame or try to cut corners or give some kind of temporary fix, but he was all about doing the right thing! We recently had all our flooring replaced and are very happy with the results. It was not all smooth sailing as there was a problem with the hardwood that was ordered. As soon as Matt was made aware of it He made a personal visit to our home to apologize and gave us some gift certificates to help with the wait for the correct hardwood. He also brought some throw rugs so we didn't have to walk on the raw plywood floors. Becky was super in keeping us in the loop and sorting out the bill in the end. Capell Flooring has done 2 jobs very well for me. The first was refinishing my hard wood floor in 2016. They did a wonderful job and it still looks beautiful. Capell flooring has been my go to for the flooring needs for my past 2 homes. I heard about them thru word of mouth and decided to try them out. My first stop wasn't Capell flooring however. I decided to try another company where I could get a discount because I'm a designer by profession. Visited Capells without an appointment and was greeted by a clerk who gave me her time before her next appointment. She explained options and showed me where to see samples of each idea. I took some samples and returned at a later date, made selections and the materials were ordered. Capells agreed to let me do demo in order to reduce the total cost.
