I expect my child to get sick (which is nobody's fault) but she was out for 1.5 weeks and the only time the director reached out to me was to ask for payment, not a concern or knowledge that my daughter was out for so long. COVID came along, the owner/directly withheld money from our tuition as cleaning fees and credit. I really did not want to go back but covid was a mess to find new daycares so I let both my children go for the summer to utilize the credit that she withheld from me. They leave their school bags outside in the sun before pick up time, a possible "rodent" or animal chewed through my daughter's bag (I don't care about the bag but it's kinda gross to have rodents crawling my children's belongings) but according to the owner, it's impossible. So it must have been either my pet goldfishes or 3 year old son who chewed it out...since it was "impossible"to have rodents outside their building. Friday was pizza day. I gave pizza money but they miscommunicated somehow and didn't feed my daughter. When I tried to talk to the owner, she put her hand in my face and told me "it would never happen again and I had to drop it". Even if I had forgotten to pay, would it be so terrible to feed a child with the half slice of pizza you ordered if she did not have anything to eat? In the beginning of the summer, the teacher told me my son had an accident in his pants, fine, whatever, it happens with kids. Two months later, they returned a bag of soiled clothes to me. It would have been better if they just tossed it. Send in labeled lip balm and sun screen they say, it will be applied if they go out later in the day. Forget it, by the end of the summer, all my sunscreens were brand new. There were many great teachers that worked here but most have left. It's a beautiful new and clean place with lots of potential to be great, unfortunately, when you only look at $ and not use your heart to care for the children that parents trust you with, it will show right through. I spent a few seasons here because I really wanted to like it, all the parents including myself were ultimately disappointed in the management of this daycare.

And she also said it was "weird" that I asked her if they have cameras that families can use to check in on their babies during the day. This was a deal breaker for us we chose another facility who was willing to be transparent with you. transparency is so important when you are dealing with infant parents.

The Director, Miss Elena, met with us for over an hour and has continued to be engaged and dedicated in conversations about our son's development. In the time he has been at TLE, our son has blossomed and grown in so many ways. From reinforcing learning we do at home, to teaching him so many new and exciting things, the teachers at TLE are kind, professional and most important to me, loving. He has so much fun at school and has been enriched by the friendships he's made and the things he has learned. TLE is truly a wonderful addition to any parents childcare village.

Children are often left without proper supervision, especially when they cry. My child was bitten repeatedly for three weeks in a row. Instead of addressing the issue directly, the administration said they had bought a book for the teachers so they could "learn" how to prevent such situations. But these are basic skills every caregiver should already have when working with children. 2. Food. The menu includes a lot of sweets and processed foods. I personally saw children being given Oreo cookies. There was even a case when the milk was close to spoiling. This is absolutely unacceptable for children's nutrition. 3. Water and milk. Children are regularly given very cold milk and water from the refrigerator. Even when I brought my own water and left it separately, I would still find it in the fridge at the end of the day. As a result, children often get sore throats and coughs. 4. Temperature in the classroom. Several times I noticed that the rooms were very cold: teachers were wearing jackets, while the children sat in shorts and were freezing. This happens quite often and raises serious concerns about the comfort of the environment. 5. Parent communication app. The app almost never works properly. For months, their iPad would shut down after just one hour of use. Even after replacing it, the problem remained -- updates are not entered on time, and parents don't receive information in real time. 6. Formula and basic needs. When my child first started, she was still partially on formula. In the application form, I filled out all the details to help her adapt smoothly. However, I was told that "the daycare doesn't have hot water" to prepare the formula. This is absurd, especially considering they also accept infants. How can a daycare operate without such a basic necessity? After some unpleasant conversations, they eventually allowed it for a while, but the very fact that this was an issue shows a lack of basic readiness and care. Conclusion: In my opinion, this daycare fails to provide the basic safety, nutrition, and comfort that children deserve. Parents considering this option should think very carefully before enrolling their child here.

From 3 months to 15 months he was in the infant room with excellent care givers who took care of him as if he was their own. They did artwork with him, which always adorn my fridge. The room was clean and bright and fun! He had his own crib. I had to provide my own sheets and blanket but it was more than a cheesy bassinet, there were gorgeous wood cribs. He had his own cubby and contain/space in the fridge. When it was time for him to move to the toddler room they transitioned him to make him comfortable. But in his new "big boy" room he really blossomed. They to amazing things with these kids. He goes to gym, computer class, out door recreation, they have circle time, reading time, music class, and so much more. They have their own nap pads which are comfortable and a crib sheet fits them nicely. He again has his own space is in the fridge and a toddler size table where the kids eat their meals together. They work on colors, letters, numbers, vocabulary, and developing their fine motor skills, gross motor Skills, language levels, social development, and more. As a facility that also has the capability of providing Early Intervention they provide me with quarterly evaluations as part of their program. It's a great way to learn more about your child hitting milestones. They have their own sink and bathroom in the room and are more than glad to work with you to potty train, my son is eager to use the potty as a result of the expose he gets to older children at school and the staffs intuitiveness to sense he was ready and to work with him each day to learn to use the potty seat. They are working with my son to develop his skills to use utensils and a regular cup. He comes home every day smarter and happier than the last. I thank each amazing staff member for VCLC each day for their kindness to my child and I, and that each one of them is dedicated to the well being of my son. The pricing is reasonable, the location is a leased elementary school which means it's totally geared towards small children. I do have to provide my own food, which not only saves money, but I know that he is eating good for each day not typical easy toddler food (pizza, mac n cheese, chicken nuggets). Their security is phenomenal. You have to show your family pass before being buzzed into the building. The class sizes are small, and the rooms are colorful and fun and filled with educational toys and decor. He still comes home with fun projects each day and larger projects every so often. It's an excellent choice when you're considering daycare!!
