I moved to the area four years ago. I used to do self-care and I was getting regular massages. Since I couldn't find anyone near where I lived, I had no choice but to discontinue my self care regimen. I won a gift certificate for time in the salt room. It was beautiful and relaxing and so therapeutic. I really enjoyed the experience so much. I was laying down in the salt on my back for most of my time in the salt room. There are 3,000 pounds of beautiful pink Himalayan salt in the room. If you don't want to lie down in the salt, you can sit in zero gravity chairs if you wish. The music is controlled by an MP3 player and you have the option to change the music to lower or raise the volume, etc. I just left it with what it was and it was super relaxing. Salt Room is likely something I never would've tried, so I was grateful to have this experience. I didn't even know this place was around! I have driven by it many times on 209 though. I don't do Facebook and apparently that's where they advertise the most so I didn't even know this business had been in the area for two years and it's relatively close to where I live. I enjoyed my experience so much that I decided to book a one hour massage. I'm very much looking forward to that. When I called to schedule my salt room experience, I requested a tour as well because I wanted to see what they could offer. The owner herself, took her time and took me through. She showed me all the different rooms and offerings that they have and I learned a lot about the red light therapy and other specialties. I really am looking forward to going back. Came in recently with my husband and got exactly the candles and herb I needed without being hassled or upsold or in some way bamboozled by that money hungry trinket vendor at a flea market vibe you don't want to deal with. You know the one. It's not likely that I'll come to Jim Thorpe often as it's so out of the way, but if and when I do again, I will come here and stock up on supplies.

There is a welcoming front room with glass display case of various different crystals for purchase. There is also a back room with inexpensive stones to choose from, small towers on the shelves along with other unique items. Additionally Reiki, past life regression and Tarot card reading is available by appointment. Just call. I did not partake in any of the aforementioned services but I can tell you I love this shop! Steven and Daphne recently opened up this shop. They also educated me on the beautiful Goddess Fortuna. Steven has created a gorgeous statue of her. Very interesting. Owners are super friendly. So I was visiting from out of…read moretown, and booked a class with this studio on the MINDBODY app. I followed the directions of Google Map to try to get to the studio (518 Mill Street). However, Google Map led me to a building where there were no yoga studios. It took me a few minutes and asking around to figure out that the studio was down the street (the street numbers must have shifted on this street). When I finally reached the studio, the class was already in session and the studio was locked. So I did not get to go to the class. I called the business number listed on MINDBODY (both before and after the class start time), the number was either invalid or unreachable. Then afterwards I called the number listed under the business on google, it went to voicemail. I left a message and asked for a call back, but no one called me back. The studio looks really nice from outside. I really wish I had been able to take that class. But I think the business is somewhat responsible for making sure customers can find them, and when confusion occurred, they should be responsible for closed loop communication. I ended up doing yoga with a YouTube video in my hotel room. ADDENDUM: the business reached out to me via email and offered a refund. I guess they now just need to contact google maps to update their location.

I started working in Danville not too long after the infancy of this equally fabulous and beautiful yoga studio. Hardwood floors, nice clean and fun vibe, Lululemon yoga mats (Oh, I just get tickled with delight over Lulu!), and knowledgeable, seemingly grounded yoga instructors make this studio a breath of fresh air. There's a variety of classes for your needs...would love to drop in to a rooftop class when it's warmer out. There's a gift shop in the reception area that sells beautiful jewelry made by women in developing countries to clothing and candles. Now if only my budget allowed, I would happily be here more. The cheddar melted, bacon crisp, egg a nice medium. It was messy from the hot honey but it was pure heaven to my taste buds. I'm going to dream about this sandwich for days. Sausage bagel, husband said it was good but he took a bite of mine and said it didn't compare. If in the Pottsville area I highly recommend.
